After Bill stormed out of the convocation hall, the ceremony was as somber as it was silent-one could even hear a pin drop just then.
"Urgh... Such stubbornness. What a waste of his father's effort." Dan sighed inwardly as he watched.
Bill had talent and he had been willing to take him in as a student. In fact, Dan did what he did so as to nurture Bill's mentality so that he truly learned humility and honesty.

The brat, however, did not accept any of it, even storming out right then and leaving Dan disappointed.
Dan had caround too. "He left, and so be it. No disappointments there—he clearly has a warped mind despite his talents." What Dan did not know, however, was that Bill's father had given him clear orders to get his Riverton University graduation certificate.
After all, there was no reason Bill would want to return when he was living the good life abroad just to attend smeasly convocation ceremony in the country.
And he certainly refused to wait another year of studying monotonous medical ethics. He would really rather get his certificate sooner to inherit his father's hospital, after which he would reshis life of debauchery.
Why bother studying medicine at all? If anything, he never intended to save lives-he just wanted to take over his father's business and rise to the peak of his career.
That was why he could not care less about Dan's advice, and his spite only grew after Dan tore up his certificate.
He cursed their names endlessly even as he stormed out, spitting at the campus signboard as he left through the gates, preparing himself for revenge.

Seeing that things had gotten awkward he stood up again and spoke up to calm things down. "The ceremony should continue.
Apologies, but that brat really made melose my temper here." Mr. Zims quickly joined in. "Hahaha... So Mr. Zimmer would still be honoring us? That is truly a privilege..." With that, the atmosphere in the hall was cheerful once more.
"Congratulations." Frank nodded and smiled at Winter as he handed her her certificate. "You are now eligible to further your studies in Draconian traditional medicine. What do you say to that?" "Yes!" Winter quickly agreed to it, as if afraid Frank would change his mind if she was a moment too slow.
"Well, that's a promise." Frank smiled and tenderly patted her head.
Winter pouted. "I'm not a kid, Frank. I'm just a few years younger than you." "Oh, haha... Sorry about that." Winter quickly shook her head. "No, Frank. You know what I mean—" "That's enough, Winter. The one behind you is getting impatient," Frank interrupted, pointing at Jean, who was standing behind Winter and waiting for her turn. S Jean urged Winter too, "Oh, Winter-you can catch up sother time. Make way for me! I want my certificate!" "Ugh! Fine, Jean." Winter pouted.
