Chapter 232
“When, when did you come downstairs?” Chelsea asked.
“Just now. You haven’t answered my question yet. Who did you say you liked?” Jameson asked again.
“Uh, I don’t like anyone. You heard me wrong!” Chelsea ran away with a blush after saying that.
Olivia almost burst out laughing when she saw Chelsea shoot herself in the foot.
“Liv, what’s wrong with Chelsea, the evil woman? I seem to have seen her blush just now. Does she
have a fever?” Jameson asked.
Olivia said with a laugh, “Jameson, you and Chelsea, who have the same mode of thinking, are well
matched!”
“Hey! Olivia, don’t make irresponsible remarks. I’m afraid that the evil woman will hit me if she hears
that!” Jameson denied it sternly.
“Well, I’ll stop talking about that. Here you are. These are the crayfish that Chelsea specially packed for
you. Enjoy them,” Olivia said and shook her head helplessly.
Then she took a plate of crayfish out of the box on the cabinet, and placed it in front of Jameson.
Jameson’s eyes lit up when he saw the tender and juicy crayfish!
“Is this really for me?” He asked.
“Yeah, Chelsea said that you didn’t eat any crayfish, so she brought some back for you,” Olivia
answered.
“No way! It’s impossible for the evil woman to be so kind-hearted. Could it be that she intends to poison
me?” Jameson asked.
“If you are not going to eat it, I’ll take it away,” Olivia said.
“No, I’m not afraid even if it’s poisoned. I’m a scientist. No one in the world can poison me to death!”
Jameson said as he sna tched all the crayfish, intending to eat them all by himself.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtSeeing that Olivia would not scramble for them, he began to enjoy them contentedly.
“Jameson, why is William allergic to crayfish? Is it because it’s incompatible with the ointment he
applied to his wound?” Olivia asked.
“Of course not. William has been allergic to crayfish since he was a child, so crayfish has never been
served at the Kinsman villa. Didn’t you notice it when you were at the Kinsman villa before?” Jameson
answered casually as he ate the crayfish.
She was speechless. She had noticed it, so she was in doubt.
As expected, the jerk William deceived her!
After saying that, Jameson found he seemed to have said something wrong.
“Uh, Liv…” Jameson tried hard to think of a way to cover up William’s lie.
At this moment, Olivia heard the Skype message alert tone from her phone.
Olivia subconsciously clicked the message and found it was from Ezra.
It said, [My dear mom, if someone tells you that your dear son refuses to talk, don’t worry. I’m fine!]
Ezra also sent a few super handsome selfies.
Olivia was a little confused by his
message.
So she subconsciously enabled the screen keyboard and typed a reply, [My handsome baby boy, why
do you refuse to talk?]
Ezra replied, [I’m trying to be a quiet and handsome boy like Lucian.]
Olivia replied, [Tell me the truth.]
Ezra replied, [I never lie.]
Olivia asked in the message, [I’m not buying it. Where are you now? When will you come back?]
Ezra replied, [I’ll stay with Ivan and Lucian today and not going back. Mom, go to bed early. I’m sleepy
now. Good night.]
Olivia sent another message, [Ezra, are you already sleepy at this time? Do you think I’ll believe that?!]
Ezra read her message without reply.
Olivia was helpless. Her intuition told her that this brat must be playing a trick behind her back again.
She just wondered who was so unlucky to be her wicked boy’s target.
In the Hospital.
When Jodie woke up, she fell into a state of profound hatred and madness.
She smashed everything in the ward into pieces and even injured Tilden’s head.
As she thought about what had happened in the elevator, she smelled something fishy. Wasn’t it too
coincidental for her to bump into a ghost in broad daylight?
What had happened in the elevator was an absolute disgrace to her.
“It must have something to do with that brat. I must have fallen into his trap!
“Tilden, go and seize that brat. I want to make detailed inquiries about the fact!” Jodie, who did not vent
her anger after smashing the things, said.
Her words scared Tilden so much that his legs went weak.
“Miss Jodie, he’s the son of Mr. Kinsman!” Tilden lowered his head and worked up his courage to
remind her.
“Do you mean that I can only suppress my indignation because he’s William’s son? If it hadn’t been for
him, I wouldn’t have been thoroughly disgraced in William’s company. I’ll be embarrassed to be with
William after what happened in the elevator. It’s all that brat’s fault!” Jodie said.
“Uh, Miss Jodie, I think Mr. Kinsman was occupied with work at that time, so he didn’t see you in the
elevator. As long as the employees keep it secret, no one will dare to gossip about you. Don’t worry,”
Tilden said.
“What? Wasn’t it William who brought me here after I fainted?” Jodie asked.
“Uh,” Tilden hesitated in speaking.
“Forget it. I’m glad that he didn’t see it,” Jodie said. Thinking of the scene where she fainted in the
elevator, she was so furious that she even felt the urge to hit the wall. Fortunately, William didn’t see it.

“Miss Jodie, I’m glad that you think so. As for young Mr. Kinsman, I just got the news that he was
frightened and has been hospitalized.”
“What? He was frightened? The brat is such a nuisance!” Jodie said, thinking that she was supposed to
be the one who was frightened.
“Miss Jodie, young Mr. Kinsman is only a five-year-old child after all,” Tilden tried to appease her.
However, Jodie did not agree with him.
She said, “He’s not a child. How can a child be so annoying? You said he has been hospitalized.
Where is he? I’m looking for him!”
“He, he’s in the ward next door. But after all, he’s young Mr. Kinsman. Miss Jodie, why don’t we forget
it, lest Mr. Kinsman finds out what you do?” Tilden said.
“I would like William to find it out. I want to show him that the bit ch’s son is born to be despicable and
mean. It’s better for him to give up the brat as soon as possible!” As Jodie spoke, she quickly walked
out of the ward.
“Huh? Miss Jodie,” Tilden said and immediately chased after her.
But before he could finish his words, he was interrupted by her, “Cut the cra p. Take me to him right
away.” She decided to teach that brat a lesson!
Although Tilden was worried after receiving her order, he had to brace himself to take Jodie to the VIP
ward next door where Ezra was at the moment.
Ezra was sitting on the bed, covered with a quilt, absorbed in the children’s phone in his hands.
He, who had just exchanged messages with his mother, intended to send Lucian a message.
Unexpectedly, as soon as he was about to type a message, he felt that the quilt on him was suddenly
lifted.
Then he heard Jodie’s voice, “Brat, how could you stay in the hospital and feel at ease after disgracing
me profoundly?
“Tell me, who sent you to trick me? Did your mother Olivia, that bit ch, tell you to do that?”
