Chapter 720
Seeing how Arianna seemed preoccupied as she sighed and stayed silent, Eloise could not bear to ask any more
questions.
"Forget it. You don't have to say it if you don't want to. No matter what it is, I’ll always support your decision." She
patted Arianna's hand with one hand while the other fumbled around the sofa behind her. Then, she pulled out a TV
remote.
After a moment of thought, Eloise pressed the power button. "It's been a while since the two of us sat and watched a
show together. Come, accompany me for a while."
Arianna definitely felt better around Eloise. If Arianna were to return to her room, it would be hard not to get angry
again.

"Okay." She had nothing better to do anyway. She was free these couple of days as she was just waiting for the results
from both sides.
Eloise, who rarely watched TV, didn't know what to watch. After switching around the channels a few
times and finding nothing interesting, she stared ahead and eventually became a little sleepy.
When she turned to look at Arianna and saw that she was falling asleep as well, Eloise suggested,
"Why don't we go to b-"
Before she could even say the word "bed," a voice from the TV caught her attention.
"Here are two samples..."
The voice sounded familiar, so Eloise glanced at the TV, only to realize that the person speaking on TV
was Lily!
It seemed like she had a press conference today. However, since she and Nathaniel had cut off
contact, Eloise did not pay attention to Lily anymore since she wasn't going to be her daughter-in-law.
Eloise could not be bothered about Lily as long as she wasn't an enemy.
Still... was this a live broadcast of the press conference? She pressed the button to the next channel
when Arianna called out, " Mom, don't change the channel!"
Arianna was initially waiting to hear updates about the conference, but since there was a live
broadcast, she decided to watch it instead.
"I misclicked." Eloise noticed that Arianna seemed attentive to the broadcast and switched it back.
Then, the two of them watched it intently.
"It seems like Lily is more capable than I thought. Who would've thought about adding herbs to
perfumes? There are all sorts of people in the world." Eloise sighed.

Her eyes were fixated on Alexander, who was standing behind Lily. That ruthless man, capable of shaking up a whole
city, looked at Lily softly and affectionately. He seemed so focused on her.
It was as if she was the only thing he saw and she was the only person in the world for him.
Seeing this, Arianna couldn't help but clench her fists. She had no idea where she was lacking in comparison to Lily. If
it weren't for
Lily, Alexander would definitely look at Arianna in a different light!
She lost interest when Arianna realized that Lily had saved the boat from sinking. This woman was something else. So
many things happened, yet she still came up on top. How Arianna wished she had just as strong of a support group as
Lily.
Arianna's eyes drifted toward Alexander again with a complicated feeling in her heart. Just as she was about to get up,
another voice abruptly sounded from the TV. "Your grandfather is still dead, isn't he?"
Arianna froze and turned to look at the TV.
