“You’re right about one thing. Finding someone with the help of Hyderland’s police isn’t difficult, just as

it isn’t easy to create trouble in our country.

“I’m sure you appreciate how safe Hyderland is, right?”

Fred stopped and turned smilingly. “Yes, I do. I like everything here! Please inform me if you hear from

Lily. I’d love to meet her.”

“Sure.”

Fred then turned and left.

Mike glanced over his shoulder as they left the embassy and growled, “Seriously? Are we just going to

leave with nothing?”

He had expected to gain helpful information here. However, they got nothing and got treated like fools.

‘How can that man pretend not to have seen Lily when it’s so clear they’re holding her hostage? What

Mike had met various unreasonable people during his business dealings. Still, he never expected

someone of that stature to act so despicably.

“What else could we do?” Alexander looked calm. “Drop our pretense, kick up a storm, and get kicked

out? What would happen then? We ask the government to get involved?”

Mike was stumped but knew Alexander was right, despite his anger.
