Chapter 811 Despite Brad's irresistibly handsface that could still make Nadine's heart race, she did her best to steer clear of him whenever possible. Given their current relationship, it was wholly inappropriate for them to share the sroom.
This was especially the case since the room had been booked by Sebastian, not her. So, after Sean finished dinner, Nadine made up her mind. She wasn't going to let him set foot in her room.
But, of course, Brad was full of excuses. This time, it was, "I need to bring Sean's luggage into the room." Using this pretext, he practically barged into her room.

Nadine, being kind-hearted, waved him toward the bathroom. She didn't want to argue over something so trivial. Yet, Brad took his sweet tin there. By the the emerged, Sean was crying and demanding Brad play with him.
What else could she do? Her beloved son adored Brad, and she couldn't exactly deny him. There was no way she was going to pick a fight with Brad in front of Sean.
Besides, Brad had traveled a long way to bring her son here. Nadine figured the least she could do was let him rest for a bit.
And so, Brad spent the entire evening playing with Sean until the little guy finally drifted off to sleep. When he checked the time, it was already 11:00 pm.
Of course, Brad had been scheming from the moment he stepped into the room with that suitcase. He didn't fly all the way here just to drop Sean off. The child was just an excuse; Nadine was the one he was after.
However, she kept him at arm's length, her icy demeanor making it abundantly clear she had no interest in letting him get any closer. And that frustrated Brad to no end.
With midnight looming and Sean fast asleep, Brad dropped the facade. He rose to his feet and walked over to Nadine, his mesmerizing eyes locking ontolfilled with a fire that threatened to conseverything in its path.

"Mr. Hamilton, don't you have your own room? If I'm not mistaken, you're a VIP at this hotel a diamond-tier member, no less. Surely, a place like this wouldn't dare turn away someone as important as you?" Sebastian had told her when he checked into the hotel that this five-star hotel had a branch in hotel almost every city. Only the rich and powerful could stay there. To get in, one needed a membership card and had to spend a certain amount. Brad was one of their elite diamond-tier members, and there were only one or two people nationwide who had that status.
After hearing Sebastian's explanation, Nadine realized just how powerful the Hamilton family was. Brad could've easily stayed in the lavish presidential suite. Why on earth was he bothering her about where to sleep?
Brad didn't lose his temper like he usually did, nor did he seem the least bit angry Instead, he just stared at her, his eyes a deep, unreadable pool. Nadine could bring herself to meet his eyes and turned her face away, looking elsewhere.
Before their divorce, she might have thought Brad was looking at her with affection maybe even liked her. But now, she no longer thought that way. The only person who could receive Brad's warmth was Jean. Nadine would never
be the woman Brad looked at with that kind of tenderness. Nadine had accepted long ago that his kindness and devotion were reserved for Jean.
