"No," Vicky explained. "Jennifer ran into some trouble, so she isn't here yet."

Tyler lowered his gaze to hide the ruthlessness hidden in his eyes. "Vicky, are you still going to dine
here?"

Sebastian's expression darkened as the two continued to talk as though he did not exist. He knew that
Vicky would not believe him no matter what he said.
"Vicky, I will find proof," he said before turning to walk out of the restaurant.
It was pouring outside and Sebastian did not have an umbrella, so he was drenched within seconds.
Vicky simply glanced at him and looked away almost immediately without a care in her heart.
Half an hour later, Vicky received a call from Cece. "Vicky, I'm afraid we'll have to postpone the birthday
celebration."
Vicky frowned. "What happened to Jennifer?"
