Shaun took a piece of meat and some salad for her. “ Cathy, believe me. My reputation as the most brilliant
attorney in Australia is well earned.”
“Sure, sure. You once lost to the attorney whom I hired with two thousand dollars, ” Catherine mocked him.

” Catherine interrupted him and changed the topic. “Let’s eat.”
Nevertheless, the situation was rather awkward after that. No matter what Shaun said, Catherine was not really in
the mood to interact with him.
As Logan’s boss, she had failed to protect his subordinate, who had been protecting her wholeheartedly. She even
