Chapter 415
At the circus, they finally spotted Agnes. Currently, an elephant, with its trunk holding a pen, was being showcased
for its “artistic talent“, creating something reminiscent of a Picasso piece. The trainer was using a whip to guide it.
Honestly, this type of animal act disturbing. Still, there was a significant number of spectators.
Agnes seemed disinterested, almost as if she’d been swept into the area by the throng Suddenly, chaos erupted.

pen, knocked the trainer off his feet, and was now charging at the audience.
No one had anticipated this. The crowd scattered in all directions. Agnes had been lost in thought but was jolted
back to the present. As she was about to leave with the crowd, a child’s cry caught her ear. Turning, she saw the
elephant had comered a young boy and lifted him into the air with its trunk. His parents were nowhere in sight.
The whole place was filled with screams, total chaos.
Agnes bolted towards the scene.
The elephant was going nuts, swinging the kid around with its trunk.
Good thing the kid didn’t fall or hit anything hard.
Agnes took a look around, picked up a bottle of water off the ground and hurled it at the elephant.
When a bottle struck the elephant on its trunk, it roared in anger, releasing the child it held aloft. Agnes sprinted
forward, catching the child just in time. But this only angered the elephant more. As it swung its trunk, Agnes lost
her balance. Although she rolled several times on the ground, she protected the child in her arms.
Just as the elephant charged towards Agnes, Brayden stepped in with a stick, distracting the beast. Chaos ensued,

Rushing to Agnes‘ side, Brayden inquired about her condition. She winced, realizing she had hurt her arm in the

witnessed the harrowing event. They insisted on accompanying Agnes and Brayden to the hospital.
Kemi, having planned a simple outing with Agnes, was in disbelief about the day’s events. Fortunately, Agnes‘
injuries were minor: a dislocated arm now reset and a few scrapes. Yet, a hit to the head during the fall caused
dizziness and nausea, suggesting a potential mild concussion. The doctor recommended overnight observation.
Despite Agnes feeling the symptoms were unrelated to the concussion, having experienced unease and vomiting
days prior, Brayden insisted she stay for further medical attention.
