Maja was dissatisfied, but too shy to express her feelings. She felt restless and empty inside.
“You’re happy he’s back, aren’t you?”
“No.”
“Do you want me?”
Biting her lip, Maja was sweating heavily under his questioning.
At that moment, Ian’s phone rang. It was a call from Fitch.
Ian answered, listening to the voice on the other end.
“Greenfield won’t be peaceful tonight. The higher-ups have been searching for the research results that Eric had

research results. Eric contacted them, claiming that he had suffered mental abuse and couldn’t recall where the
chip was stored, unless Maja was handed over to him.”
This was a matter of national concern. As soon as Eric returned, he used this as a bargaining chip.
In order to get the research results, the higher-ups would certainly put pressure on the Raymond family.
Ian’s eyes narrowed. He opened the door to leave, but was stopped by Maja, who had been stirred by his
questioning.
“I want you.”
Ian stiffened.
He slammed the door in front of him. He turned around and pulled Maja into his arms. They made their way to the
bed, kissing passionately.
Their breaths became hot and heavy.
Maja could barely catch her breath, her forehead dotted with sweat.
Ian was also in a fervor, his movements wild, as though he wished to suffocate her with his kisses.
When they finished, it was already one in the morning.
Maja was out of energy, listening to him on the phone.
He must be talking to Fitch.
Fitch had already slept for a while, likely knew what Ian had been doing, and didn’t ask more.

“Ian, the higher-ups are still meeting. For this chip, they will definitely want to talk to Maja personally. Steve also
feels the pressure. Eric wants Maja. He accepted the mission back then because of Maja. His only obsession is Maja.
Perhaps with Maja by his side, he could recall the research results, remember the exact location of the chip.”
This was just one of Eric’s goals. His other goal was likely aimed at Ian’s position as the heir.
Compared to Eric’s research results, all the contributions Ian made to the higher-ups would have to step aside.
With these research results, the higher-ups could easily solve many international problems.
So as long as Eric insisted, they would definitely send someone to persuade Maja. If Maja didn’t cooperate, the
company would be in danger. After all, this was no longer about dealing with a single enemy.
Ian understood the hidden machinations in this scenario, his eyebrows slightly raising.
His slender fingers were still on Maja’s smooth back, slowly moving.
Maja’s face was buried in the pillow, her voice raspy, “I’m tired. I don’t want to do it anymore.”
She probably knew that she and Ian were in trouble. Plus, with the Sanders family, their situation was dangerous.
