Diana stared in disbelief as Suzy, who had supposedly leaped to her death, suddenly sprang up from behind the
cliff.
With a look of grim determination, she landed gracefully, her hand gripping a pistol.

Suzy never trusted the man to keep his word and release Diana. Her suspicions had been confirmed when he
turned his threats into actions.
As Suzy approached, Diana's initial shock turned into a teary smile. "Sis, you scaredhalf to death! | really
thought you'd given up..."
She had been terrified, especially after Suzy's earlier words, which had sounded like a final farewell. Thankfully,
it had all been a ruse.
The man, realizing he was tricked, spun around and glared at Suzy with fury. "You conniving woman! How dare
you play me! Guards!"
He barked out a command, his face twisted with rage. "You probably don't realize it yet, but I've stationed people
all around this place. Let's see how you plan to escape fromnow!"
He smirked with smug confidence, certain of his advantage.
However, Suzy merely shrugged, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Maybe you should check behind you first."
