At the dining table, she did not say anything the entire night. Instead, she poked at the papaya with the fork in front of her, and she was obviously unhappy. He picked up the pan-fried cod steak and placed it in her bowl.

"How about you try it? It's their specialty, codfish, and it tastes great!" He had just picked up the lemon sauce but before he could hand it over to her, the piece of fish was already squished by her. Then, just like before, she only ate a little and pushed it aside. After that, she picked up a small piece and put it into her mouth again.

His hand stopped in mid-air. No matter how stupid he was, Trevor noticed that her anger was directed towards him! After putting back the small sauce plate that was in his hand, Trevor looked at her directly and said, "What's wrong? Are you angry at me? Is there anything dissatisfying about the wedding?" The wedding dress was from a company he had suggested, and she had chosen the style. Although the ring had not been delivered to them yet, his intuition told him that she would like it! He didn't want to be too extravagant, but it was not his place to intervene anymore then. The two families' elders would be making the decisions. Did she have anything against the betrothal gifts? He smiled and said," You're grumpier than a cat, but you're so petty!" Her worries were clearly written on her face, yet she still refused to talk about it! "Don't tellit's my fault for giving you the cold shoulder recently?" Trevor was just saying it as a casual joke. When it was near the end of the year, he had to attend more annual meetings than ever! Moreover, if he wanted to get married and go on a honeymoon, he had to spare a lot of tso he needed to finish a lot of work in advance! Although it was said unintentionally, it was a serious matter to her. All of a sudden, his words hit Victoria's heart like a hammer, which made her fail to resist him.

That was right! Why should she be angry? If he could not control himself and was back to being a playboy like the old days, she would be freed earlier, wouldn't she? When he saw the cake on the ground, he squatted down. The waiter nearly burst into tears.

All of a sudden, Victoria cto her senses, and she quickly jumped down and returned to her seat. He was in a good mood, so Trevor said, "Go and make another order!" The waiter was extremely relieved. He immediately bowed with gratitude and said, "Thank you, Master Trevor. I'll go right away!"

It meant that he didn't need to pay for the spilled one when Master Trevor asked to make another order! He had nearly lost a month of his salary just because of the ruined dessert! Holding the fork, Trevor picked up sfood for Victoria again. This time, she smiled. "This one looks good!"

She picked up the fork and put the fattiest piece of meat into his bowl. Then, in order to prevent him fram taking revenge, she took up her own plate first and smiled gleefully at him. Finally, he saw a smile on her face, and the corners of Trevor's mouth curled a little. After the joyful meal, Trevor held her as they walked out of the door. As soon as they left, he thought of something and stopped.
