At this time, several store assistants ran out to catch the fish. The scene was in a mess, which attracted many customers' attention. When they got home, Alicia put the flower into the vase on the dining table, then went to sort out the items they had brought hwhile humming a tune. She packed up ssnacks to be taken to their room later. She didn't expect Frederick to help her out, He just stood aside and looked at her.

She first washed the vegetables and boiled the eggs. Then she started preparing the salad. Since it was only for the two of them, it wouldn't take long for her to finish preparing.

Seeing that she was busy, Frederick really wanted to help but had no idea how to. He felt a warmth enveloping his heart and was reminded of the the spent with his grandmother when he was a child. Every tshe cooked, he would follow her to the kitchen. Since childhood, he lacked maternal love.

Looking back at him, Alicia giggled and said, "Hubby, are you worried? Didn't I leave early because I wanted to chto cook for someone?" As he tilted his head, she nodded in emphasis.

"You know, I've just only realised just how charming I am! I've gotten candy twice, three flowers, and two om chocolates that stole from other staff. They're all on my desk! Do you want to cand check up on me, Hubby? I still don't know who gave them to me."

Seeing her narcissistic look, Frederick guessed that someone was testing the water by sending flowers. He smiled and said, "Are you used to the work? I can help you out if you need it." It seemed to be a casual conversation but Frederick was

actually trying to find out more about how things were going for her. Was it just like what Giselle had said? On the other hand Alicia thought that he was just trying to get her to stay in the company, which would explain why he was asking about her condition. She thought that no matter what, she could not let him feel like she was messing around.

"No need for that. I've been doing smiscellaneous work recently. I'm also learning to use the latest products!"
