Chapter 675 What's It to You?
Jenny was astounded by what she heard. She hadn't paid attention to this matter for a
while and didn't expect Alec to have arranged everything so well.
Putting a hand on her chin, she looked at Alec quizzically. "Your actions show that you're
very confident in taking down the Faust family."
Otherwise, Alec wouldn't have merged his company with Paul's. It was obvious that he
wanted the Faust family and chose to give up on what he had built previously. Of course,
he wasn't giving everything up entirely.
Since it was likely that Paul's family would become a formidable force in Bardoff City after
the merger, albeit still inferior compared to the Ten Elites, it would still be helpful to Alec.
"Of course." Alec nodded. He wouldn't allow himself to fail in his plans.
Seeing how confident he was, Jenny didn't probe much. After all, Alec taking over the
Faust family wouldn't harm her. "Okay, I agree with your condition."

of line. After discussing the matter, the two fell into silence. Jenny felt a little restless and
awkward.
"Can I go now?"
"What's the hurry?" Alec asked, then quickly realizing that his words were inappropriate.
Therefore, he quickly changed the subject. "I noticed you weren't in a good mood when I
last saw you. Was it because of James?"
Alec was referring to the time when he saw her leave James' villa. She wasn't in a good
mood then and wasn't much better now.
"Yeah." she nodded, not denying it.
"Is it because of him and Jolene? Are you unhappy that he’s marrying Jolene?" Alec asked.
He wasn't sure why he wanted to know. Somehow, he had an inexplicable desire to
understand the situation.
"Of course. If he marries Jolene, wont his life be ruined?" Jenny sighed.
Alec didn't like the sound of that. Did that mean James wouldn't be ruined if he married
Jenny?
"It takes two to tango, don't you think? You're an outsider, so you shouldn't mind their
business too much." Alec sounded a little snarky as he commented on the situation
indifferently.
Jenny glared at him and retorted irritably, "You don't know anything!"
James was set up, so how could he be held accountable for something he had no hand in?
"It's true that I don't, but I heard that the Walters and the Windsors have already made the
announcement. They will be engaged on Sunday," Alec said with a cold smirk. He failed to
understand what Jenny saw in James. What use is a man who could be so easily done in by
two women?
Jenny was surprised to hear that. She quickly checked her phone. Sure enough, she saw
that the Walters had deleted their previous engagement announcement with the Britts
and changed it to the Windsors. It seemed that the two had reached an agreement.

She wasn't shocked at this outcome. When she left James' villa, she'd already guessed it.
But even if it came as no surprise, it was still hard for her to accept that things went down
this way.
Jolene and her mother had used utterly despicable means, and they succeeded. It was
ridiculous.
The more Jenny thought about it, the angrier she was. She felt that the two slaps she'd
given Jolene before were too meager compared to the awful act she'd done. Jenny scolded
herself for not slapping that bitch a few more times.
Noticing her getting angry over the matter, Alec felt a little irritated. "Just accept it. Even if
you're not happy about it, they’ll still be engaged."
"What's it to you if they're getting engaged? Why do you care so much?" Jenny retorted,
feeling like Alec was asking for a beating.
"What's it to you, then? Aren't you super concerned about it as well?" Alec fired back.
"It's different for me," Jenny said.
"How is it different for you?" Alec pressed. It was as if he was anxious to find out about
something.
