Chapter 4677
Just when James was about to head out to kill the other Mothers, James noticed the
creature he had killed
moments ago began rapidly decomposing. Then, a black crystal floated above it.
The black crystal was relatively small, only the size of a fist. It emitted black light and a
strange power.
James approached the crystal and examined it. He sensed that the aura was identical to
the monsters. It was an evil aura that made him disgusted.
"What the hell is this?" James frowned.
He reached out and grabbed the black crystal. When he came in contact with the crystal,
an evil force permeated his body and tried to invade his consciousness.
James instantly urged his strength to block out the evil force.

"I don’t. I’ve never seen it before."
James stopped asking questions. He casually put the crystal away in his storage space
with the Ancestral Blood Master.
"Could you study it? I suspect it's related to the monsters."
"Alright. I’ll research and let you know the results."
After the Ancestral Blood Master replied, he began his research.
Meanwhile, James located another Mother and quickly destroyed it with the Chaos Sword.
Even though these creatures could breed powerful offspring, they were powerless and had
weak defenses. Thus, James was capable of easily killing them.
After killing the Mother, James obtained another black crystal. He was not sure what the
black crystal was, but the energy contained it was abundant.
James put it away.
He appeared throughout the space and continuously killed the other Mothers. The number
of Mothers decreased, and the monsters appearing also slowed down.
"Taerl City's crisis will be over once I kill all these Mothers. The first trial is easier than I
thought it'd be. If I knew it was so easy, I would’ve come here immediately and completed
the trial,” James murmured.
Suddenly, he felt a dangerous aura approaching him. He quickly cast the Blithe
Omniscience and retreated to the distance.
As soon as he left, a figure appeared with a long sword and slashed at the space.
James looked at the sliced void and the figure that appeared from a distance. His
expression darkened, and he asked coldly, "Are you the mastermind behind everything?
Were you the one who created these Mothers? What are you trying to achieve by creating

"I wasn’t expecting someone from the Taerl City to be strong enough to arrive here."
The blurry figure gradually materialized into a man wearing a black robe.
The man had a very ordinary appearance. However, the aura emitting from his body was
incredibly corrupted and made James uncomfortable.
"Who are you? Are you the Extraterrestrial Demon?" James glared at the man.
He was unsure if his trial was an event that had happened in the past or was just a made-
up illusion.
However, he strongly felt it was an event of the past. He wanted to find out the origin of
the so-called monsters.
"Hehe!!!" The man let out an eerie laughter.
Then, he began to attack. He raised his hand and slashed his sword. Sword Energies
instantly surrounded James.
