Nadine recalled the woman's threats from earlier in the day and glared at them, demanding, "What do you think you're doing? This is a police station, and what you're doing is against the law!" The men had dragged her over with an overwhelming strength. She was no match for them. If they wanted to kill her, it would be easier than stepping on an ant.
"What are we going to do? Well, that depends on you!" One of them bent down, lifting her chin as he looked at her with a sly grin, his eyes glinting like a predator sizing up its next meal.
