He hugged her so tightly that she could hardly breathe.

could have left him behind, but you insisted on carrying him and helping him get to safety! You asked

him to trust you, to trust that you could definitely carry him out of that mountain

Serenity looked at Lucas doubtfully. She did have a similar floral dress when she was a child, but she

had no recollection of what he said at all.

“Enough!” Jackson shouted and pulled Serenity behind him.

Things were quickly moving out of his control. He was caught a little off guard. The person Serenity

Jackson pursed his lips and glared at Lucas with cold eyes.

Lucas was right he was indeed scared!

He was scared of Serenity finding out that she was indeed the person Lucas had been searching for. It

was a truth that he had been hiding from her.

Jackson gripped Serenity’s hand so hard that it was starting to hurt.

He gripped her hand so tightly. His hand… was trembling non–stop, as if it was quietly informing her

that he was panicking.

She never expected that there would come a day when his hand would tremble like this when it was

holding hers.

Serenity took a deep breath and held Jackson’s trembling hand.
