Furthermore, there had been nothing special about the moves he had been using at all.
In every challenge, he seemed to be using all his might. In particular, he spent twice as much time as everyone else
in the third room before he killed the silver-armored fighter. In the end, he sustained a few mild injuries before he
destroyed the energy crystal while panting.
After seeing that, everyone was certain that Widde was the weakest warrior out of the three challengers. It was
even possible that he would not be able to kill the golden-armored fighter and would instead perish in the fight.
Everyone grew disinterested in Widde, and some even ignored him. Yet, he was actually the first one to be ready.
The last room needed all three of them to press the button before it would open.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe betting was on who would be the first to kill the golden-armored fighter after it was opened.
Those warriors that placed their bets on Widde regretted their choices, believing they had made a mistake and that
they would never be able to regain the spirit crystals they had bet. It would be an accomplishment for Widde to
walk out alive, let alone be the first to kill the golden-armored fighter.
Angry complaints started to be heard.
"I shouldn't have placed my bets on Widde. That guy looked like he was using everything he had even in the third
room. He didn't look like he was in good condition in the second room, either. He's the weakest among the three
challengers there. Heck, he'll probably be killed by the golden-armored fighter."
It was highly likely. Some of the warriors that placed their bets on Widde were deeply regretting their choices. He
was in the worst condition out of the three of them. Even if he was the first person to get ready, not a single person
felt like he could kill the golden-armored fighter the fastest.
When the final moment was about to start, the spectator stands were clamorous.
Jack frowned. When the betting had been open, about 80% of the warriors there had taken part in the betting, so all
of them were naturally anxious at the final moments. After all, this concerned their profits.
There were those who were anxious and even those who were praying. There were even those that were cursing
loudly. The noise was like thousands of flies buzzing around.
Jack frowned in frustration, but there was nothing he could do.
Lourain looked at Jack and asked curiously, "Jack, who do you think will be the first to kill the golden-armored
fighter?"
Jack raised an eyebrow and thought about it for a moment before he shook his head, saying seriously, "I can't tell.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe three of them have been holding back. It's not easy to say who's stronger."
Even Jack could not tell what would happen, let alone himself.
Lourain sighed and decided against making quick judgments.
They waited until the final battle commenced when all three of them pressed the button after five minutes.
In the last room, the mechanisms clicked as the inside of the room was revealed to the three challengers. The last
room was very large, twice the size of the rooms before this.
The golden-armored fighter stood in the middle. Its calm gaze coldly looked at the challengers. It had a golden
sword in hand, its posture straight. Golden armor covered its whole body, and just looking at it made one feel
pressured.
