Chapter 163 "Alright," I said and looked at Bree. "Goodbye, Bree." Bree also noticed my pale complexion, and she instinctively glanced upstairs. She was probably wondering what I had said to Zack. She didn't urge us to stay. "Drive safe." Brandon and I left the house and climbed into the car. As I started the car, he held my hand. "What's wrong?" he asked.
"Nothing major. I just brought up my parents," I mumbled honestly.
"Did you ask about the car accident?" Brandon was able to guess what happened accurately.
I scoffed. "You influenced me. I wanted to know if there was something more to it." "So, what did you find out?" he asked.

The city was now ablaze with lights and the streets were bustling, especially the pedestrian streets, where traffic had already begun to slow to a crawl.
"Have you eaten yet?" I asked at a red light, breaking the silence between us.
"No," Brandon replied honestly.
I turned to look at him. "Thanks for being here today. Il treat your to dinner." "Okay." He didn't refuse.
After finding a parking spot, I got out of the car.
Pointing at the food stalls by the lively street, I declared, "Tonight, you're the king. Pick anything you want." The next moment, someone bumped into me. I lost my balance and instinctively grabbed Brandon to steady myself.
After I steadied myself, I looked up, only to see his face right in front of me. I realized I was grabbing his collar. Our pose felt like one straight out of a cheesy , perfectly executed by me. The worst part was Brandon's face was mere inches from mine, and our noses were touching. If either of us dared to move a muscle, our lips would definitely meet.
So, neither of us moved. Inadvertently, the bustling street provided the perfect backdrop for our scene, attracting the attention of the passersby.
Amidst the "oohs" and whistles, a child even chimed in "Kiss, kiss, kiss! Don't be shy!" Hearing the shouts of glee, I blushed. I quickly let go and tried to push Brandon away, but he wouldn't budge.

This time, I didn't object and stopped pushing him. I let him navigate us through the crowd. Chapter 163 2/2
Unfortunately, the crowd wasn't about to let us go that easily. They kept cheering and asking us to kiss. They were clearly enjoying this. I had held hands and hugged Brandon before, but a kiss was entirely off-limits.
"Kiss, kiss, kiss..." The more we wanted to dash out of here, the louder the chants grew.
"Think of something! Anything!" I said, pinching Brandon.
"There are just too many people. It's going to be tough to leave, Brandon said helplessly.
I was so anxious that I was sweating profusely. Just then Brandon leaned in again and whispered into my ear, "How about we give them what they want? A kiss. Consider it a freeble." My eyes widened and I stared at him in shock. I momentarily forgot the cheering crowd.
