Chapter 290
Chapter 290
"It's along story." Terence's voice was clear, and he gave a faint smile, his lips curling slightly. "I'll tell you
everything one day."
It was inconvenient for him to speak about it now.
Before Lily married Xavier, she had never been in a relationship. She had little contact with men and wasn't very
sensitive regarding matters between the sexes. Perhaps because of Bobby, she always kept a certain distance
from men. Xavier was the sole exception.
This exception, however, had caused her emotional harm
"So, do you have any specific requests for the marital hdesign?" she shifted the topic. "What kind of color

Anything works." He took a sip of hot water, his hands returning to their pale, unblemished state as the redness
faded. "What do you think would go well?"
Lily had many ideas. From a designer's perspective, as long as the color matching was night, it didn't matter
much-she was somewhat desensitized to the beauty of designs since she saw them every day. But she couldn't
afford to design something carelessly for him.
She furrowed her brow and bit her lip, thinking for a while before saying, "I'll need to think a bit more."
"No rush." He spoke gently.
When the food arrived, the waiter set the dishes on the table, and Terence subtly pushed the dishes he thought
Lily would like in front of her without making it obvious.
She then told him about Hayden's condition.
He immediately understood the meaning of the dinner. "If you want to thank me, you can do so when Hayden
recovers. It won't be too late."
"I'll thank you again when that tcomes." She smiled warmly. "I definitely will."
Hayden would get better.
"How much more expensive is Rowan's treatment for Hayden compared to Dr. Dawson's? Terence asked.
Although Rowan had little clinical experience, he was a leader in medical research and had made numerous
breakthroughs. He handled the treatment personally, so it would definitely be more expensive. Lily replied, "It's
the sas before."
"Same?" Terence was surprised, feeling something wasn't right.
"Is there something wrong?" she recalled that she hadn't paid the bill yet and added, "I haven't seen the
payment receipt, but even if it's different, it should be about the same."

Otherwise, the nurse would have called to remind her about the payment.
He didn't say anything more, but his doubts weren't dispelled.
The dinner lasted until 9:00p.m. Since Lily had work the next day, Terence suggested they wrap it up early.
They each drove off and parted ways in front of the restaurant. She drove her Maybach back to Aqua Sonata
She saw a cullinan parked on the roadside when she reached the community entrance. Standing next to it, with
a cold expression, was Xavier.
Histall figure loomed, his fingers clutching a cigarette that flickered between his fingers. Around his feet was a
pile of cigarette butts, indicating that he had been waiting for a long time.
Lily hesitated for a moment but then parked her car. A man of his stature would have no reason to be in this
area. The only reason he could be here was to find her. She opened the car door and got out, standing beside his
car. "I've removed you from my blackdist. If you need something, you can call me," "Where have you been?"
Xavier's voice was cold, like the icy wind of a winter night.
It cut across her cheek, and her clear eyes instinctively squinted as she met his dark, intense gaze. Her heart
gave a painful throb as though something had been suddenly ripped out
