She knew it wasn't right.
Flora didn't owe Shawn anything. But as a mother, her first instinct was always her son. She might as well apologize to Flora, she thought.
Alyssa's heart-wrenching cries tugged at anyone's heartstrings. Flora slid her phone back into her pocket, irritation creasing her brows. She glanced at Orla and gestured for her to cover. Orla strutted over, thinking she'd won, a smug smile playing on her lips. "So, Flora, you've agreed?" She had brought it up in front of Shawn's parents and the lab team, confident that if Flora refused, they'd all see her as heartless and selfish. A little media manipulation would make Flora's life hell in Austenberg.

Her eyes widened in terror.
She hadn't even seen Flora move, but suddenly a sharp pain shot through her knees, and she was on the ground, kneeling.
Orla's bodyguards rushed in, hands reaching for their waists.
Guns! The air was thick with tension! Darcy and the others turned pale, never having witnessed such a showdown.
Connor stepped forward, holding Flora's hand, positioning himself protectively by her side. His presence was overwhelming, exuding authority and dominance, making everyone feel a deep-rooted fear and submission.
The bodyguards' faces changed, struggling to breathe, their bravado crumbling in Connor's presence, looking as meek as quails. They had been with the medical organization for years, completing countless missions, and had learned to spot someone not to be messed with.
"Flora, you!" Orla glared at Flora, disbelief cracking her voice. The pain in her knees was a constant reminder of the humiliation she had just suffered-an unprecedented disgrace! How dare she! How dare she treat her this way! Was she not afraid that Orla might withhold the antidote out of spite? "You have a choice. Leave the antidote, and I'll let you go. Otherwise, none of you are leaving." Flora's patience had run out. Her reddened eyes glinted with a mix of madness and ruthlessness.

If I'm not welcome, I'll leave now!" As Orla turned to leave, Alyssa quickly grabbed her. "Miss Field..." What would becof her son if Orla left? Orla knew they wouldn't let her leave. She had threatened to go, intending to make Flora pay for what she had done.
"If you wantto stay, Flora must apologize to me! I swear, if + leave! swear today, you'll never find the antidote anywhere in the world!"
Orla was consumed with thoughts of her humiliation, anger, and hatred overwhelming her, forgetting to maintain her innocent facade.
Flora watched her for a moment, then suddenly laughed. "You think the antidote is exclusive to your medical organization? Treating it like streasure." Her voice wasn't loud, but it was clear and slightly mad.
"I have plenty of antidote." X
