Chapter 1456 This Is My Home
Beryl was alone and helpless. When she saw Marcellus, it was as if she had seen a family member. Her eyes were
red.
No matter how hard she tried to pretend to be calm in front of Sir. Perkins, she couldn't hold back when she saw the
person closest to her.
Marcellus was carrying a pink and silver box. It was the logo of a cake shop. He had specially bought it for Beryl, but
he didn't expect to see such a scene when he came back.
When he glanced at Sir. Perkins, all the gentleness in his eyes faded away, leaving only caution and coldness.
He put the cake box on the cabinet on the porch. Without changing his shoes, he immediately walked to the living
room.

"I called you, but no one answered. I thought you hadn't woken up yet. It's okay..."
On the way back, Marcellus called her, but no one answered. He was afraid that it would affect her rest, so he did
not continue to call. At that time, Beryl was talking to Sir. Perkins downstairs.
Seeing the two of them being intimate in front of him, Sir. Perkins snorted coldly and said, "It's good that you're
here. Sit down and solve this matter quickly."
"I don't have any problems that needed to be solved." Marcellus turned around. His facial features seemed to be
covered with a layer of frost, exuding a frighteningly cold aura. "Who sent you here."
Hearing this, Sir. Perkins said in a much lower tone, "Do I need your permission to come here?"
Marcellus didn't back down and said aggressively, "This is my home, not your territory."
Beryl listened to the conversation between the grandfather and grandson. As a grandfather, he was not polite, and
as a grandson, he was even ruder. It did not sound like a harmonious relationship.
She couldn't help but wonder if it was because of her that the atmosphere had become like this.
Sir. Perkins couldn't bear it any longer and growled, "Marcellus, you've gone too far?"
Beryl was scared and couldn't help shivering. She hid behind Marcellus, desperately hoping that no one would be
able to see her.
Marcellus tightened his grip on her hand and silently gave her strength. However, his gaze did not fall on Sir. Perkins
as he said, "I've already said it before. I don't mind how you treat me or what you ask of me, but don't touch the
people around me."
"Humph!" Sir. Perkins snorted coldly. "When have I ever interfered with your relationship? I've never said anything
like that before, but you have to know my limits!"
Sir. Perkins didn't care about it because he knew that Marcellus wasn't serious. But now, looking at his enthusiasm,

Once something was taken too seriously, it would become a weakness. Once the enemy found this point, he would
have lost at the starting line before he took over his family's business.
"You don't have to interfere in my relationship." Marcellus's words were very sharp, and he had no intention of
easing the atmosphere at all. "Take your men and leave my house now."
Sir. Perkins stood up and walked slowly to him with his cane. His gaze swept across Beryl, who was standing behind
him. He narrowed his eyes and looked up at the person in front of him. "Marcellus, you know my attitude. Since I
can come here today, I will be able to find Miss. Juliet again tomorrow. Even if you are not afraid of causing you
trouble, you have to think about it for her."
Beryl could clearly feel that Marcellus had suddenly tightened his grip on her hand. The force even made her feel a
little pain.
They confronted each other silently. Although Sir. Perkins was not as tall as Marcellus and his body was a little
withered because of his age, his aura was not weak at all.
