Chapter 1446 Men Don't Cry Easily
Beryl felt helpless yet amused. She never thought Marcellus would be this clingy and playful. Now, she felt like she
was the male in the relationship, and he was the female.
Well, when Marcellus acted cute, she had to indulge him a little. She thought to herself that she had been pushing
his buttons lately, so occasionally, she should soften up.
Thinking this, Beryl handed the popcorn to him. In the darkness, Marcellus leaned down, taking a piece of popcorn,
but he also playfully nibbled on her fingertip.
Feeling the warmth and moistness against her lips, Beryl recoiled slightly and whispered, "What are you doing?"
"What 'what'?" Marcellus feigned innocence, his enchanting eyes reflecting the light from the screen, looking very
alluring. "What's wrong with me?"
His expression seemed to accuse Beryl of being so unreasonable, instantly making her appear like a rather inept

Beryl could only silently retract her hand, pretending that nothing happened.
Soon, the movie began, and it was a film she had been looking forward to. As the lights in the theater dimmed,
Beryl immediately immersed herself in the story.
She didn't say much to Marcellus the whole time.
Little did she know that Marcellus's gaze remained fixed on her the whole time, never wandering more than a few
times.
There were moments when Marcellus couldn't help but want to kiss her, but seeing how engrossed she was, he
didn't want to disturb her and held back.
Why did he like her so much?
This was truly an unsolvable problem.
From the moment he first saw her, he had only one thought - to teach her a lesson and make her understand the
consequences of offending him.
However, deep down, was there a moment when he felt attracted to the girl in front of him?
There must be.
Marcellus knew himself well. If he had no impression of someone at the beginning, he wouldn't grow to like them
later.
At his age, having traveled so far and met so many people, it was possible to sense whether he liked someone or
not with just one glance.
But in the beginning, this tiny attraction was ignored by him. Fortunately, he didn't realize it too late, and he still
kept her by his side.
When the movie reached its emotional climax, Beryl was totally immersed in it, and tears welled up in her eyes. Just
as she was about to wipe away the tears on her face, a white handkerchief suddenly appeared next to her.
She was momentarily stunned and didn't reach out to take it. Marcellus noticed her hesitation and reached out to

"Why are you crying? It's all fake."
It was a very destructive sentence, but at this time, Beryl felt very touched. She sniffed and asked, "Don't you think
it's very touching?"
"Very touching," Marcellus replied perfunctorily, although he didn't quite feel that way because he had been
preoccupied with watching her throughout the movie.
"Then why aren't you crying?"
Marcellus's hand paused for a moment, and he chuckled softly. "You think I'm a woman?"
That's right.
Men did not cry easily.
Beryl sniffed, took the handkerchief from him, and continued to turn her head to watch the movie.
When the movie ended, her eyes were red from crying. Marcellus looked at her with some distress. "I feel
uncomfortable when you cry."
"It's not like I'm crying over something else. The movie was just so good."
As they spoke, they walked toward the parking lot.
