up!”
“Yes, even Professor Jackson is baffled!”
In a chilly tone, Raiden demanded, “Why the hell would Lynn help Rella?”
“He didn’t say.” Winston’s voice was steady. “Professor Jackson suggested we lock him up in the
freezer.”

Raiden’s voice, heavy with foreboding, echoed, “Put Rella’s matter on hold for now. Keep a close eye

Winston frowned. “Alvis hasn’t given us any response. His men have completely taken over Citadel and
they’re
spreading out. It won’t be long before they might attack Zion! We’re also in the dark about his motives.
The
leader wanted a face-to-face with Alvis, and even that got shut down!”
Raiden gazed into the blackness of the night, his usually somber eyes flickering with doubts.
