Thaddeus' expression turned awkward. He had agreed to collaborate with Stanton, but now that Stanton was in a battle with the Duad Formation Sect, they were indeed just watching from the sidelines.

"Think you can escape?” Kai snorted coldly, wielding the Dragonslayer Sword as he swiftly gave chase.

The two Sky Slasher Sect elders were reluctant but had no choice. They stopped and prepared to face Kai.
"Slash!" Kai swung his sword, and the sharp sword light descended like a Strik heavenly blade, striking one of the elders from the Sky Slasher Sect. Both elders hastily cast magecraft to form a protective shield, but it was useless.
Kai's sword light effortlessly pierced through the shield and cleaved one of the elders in two.
