When he thought about his actions today, he felt even more annoyed.
When Lukas returned to Hill Crest One Residence, he thought the house was empty, and he did not want to go
back. He sat alone in his car and started to smoke.
He smoked a few cigarettes and finally got a headache, so he put out the last one and got out of the car.
Lukas thought that Reese had not returned yet and had gone to meet the
unknown man for a date in an unknown place.
When he opened the door, he saw Reese's shoes in the foyer.
His expression changed, but he did not change his shoes. He walked in and saw Reese sitting in the dining room
eating the dinner he made.
Lukas looked at Reese and his expression becextremely complicated.
Reese heard the noise and looked up at him. "Mr. Strakovski, you're back. | didn't know before that you can
cook!"

Lukas did not answer. He just stared at her sharply, as if he wanted to see through her.
Reese laughed awkwardly at the doctor and lowered her head to eat.
Lukas looked at her blankly, walked over, and sat down across from her without saying a word.
Reese immediately got nervous. What had happened to Lukas?
Although Reese didn't look up, his approach still made her feel inexplicably oppressed.
Lukas suddenly said in a low voice, "Didn't you eat outside?"
Reese lifted her eyes and looked at him, then immediately shook her head. "I'm full, but | think your food is very
good, so | want to try it!"
Lukas stared at Reese and casually asked, "Who did you have dinner with?"
Reese was startled and started to answer.
Lukas spoke directly, and his tone becserious. "At Dinner time, Ava and Elias were together!"
Reese's heart skipped a beat. Did he know he was going to lie?
Her expression changed. She pursed her lips and told the truth. "I had dinner with a senior!"
Lukas' tone suddenly turned sarcastic and his voice becironic. "A couple set meal with a senior?"
Reese suddenly raised her head and looked at him in shock. "Were you spying on me?"
Lukas looked at Reese, leaned on the back of his chair, lit a cigarette, and sneered. "Do you have any value for
Reese frowned at him and said, "Then how did you know?"
Lukas looked at her indifferently and blew out a ring of smoke. "It doesn't matter how | knew. | just can't figure it
out. Why do you have to hide fromthat you're going to eat with your senior? Could it be... do you have
something in your heart?"
Reese's expression was tense, and his tone was a bit cold: "Mr. Strakovski, you're thinking too much. I'm not
hiding it from you. I just didn't want you to misunderstand, so | lied?"
Lukas' tone was relentless: "How would | not misunderstand you? Unless you are not clear!"

Reese's face turned ugly, and she looked directly at Lukas. "Mr. Strakovski, why are you tellingthis? | have a
clear conscience and | haven't done anything unethical. Please don't giveany labels like that!"
Lukas looked at her indifferently and suddenly mocked himself, "I'm giving you labels? Didn't you eat with
another man? You dare to say that this is not true?"
Reese was very angry. She looked directly at Lukas and refused to back down. "Mr. Strakovski, since you don't
believeso much, then you can adjust the surveillance!"
Lukas looked at Reese blankly. Did she think he had never thought about it?
It's just that he stopped temporarily. For a woman who wanted to eat with other men, he had to hide it from his
own wife. What was he trying to find out with such a long-term effort to check the surveillance?
Seeing that Lukas was silent, Reese seemed to realize that he was full of lies, that she had agreed to marry him,
and that he was still ambiguous with other men.
Lukas could misunderstand her, but when she opened her mouth, she would not allow others to misunderstand
her like that, and even falsely accuse her.
Her expression was unprecedentedly stubborn, and she sneered with a cold smile as she looked at Lukas. "Yes,
the senior wanted a couple's set meal. That's true. What you don't know is that he said he was hungry and
wanted to eat a double portion. But | ordered a single meal for myself, wasn't that allowed?"
