Chapter 485 Chapter 485 Kay's p.o.v.

I sit in the dark, Maleah right next toand we are waiting for our target. Elder Morton.

I think back to this morning when I helped Maleah to make sFormobital, it is made of plants called Nassiscus and Ocospilbe. The Nassiscus is used completely, it gets dried and then you have to crush it. From the Ocospilbe you only use the leaves, that also gets dried and then crushed.

It is boiled in a small amount of Abelbicin, until the liquid is completely soaked up by the other ingredients. It is added to sHuccafort and then put through a sieve to get a clear liquid, which she put in a small bottle.

Maleah seems to be in a trance as she stares straight ahead and I wonder how often she has been sitting like this, waiting for her target to arrive.

I can still sense Titan, but it feels like he is far away and it finally makes sense towhy no one ever felt that Maleah had a Wolf or a Lycan. If I can feel that Titan is far away, than I doubt anyone else can sense him. I will have to ask him how that felt, once we are home.

"No one is coming for you, no one knows of the dealings we had with Tamish and no one will ever find out. That Idiot got himself killed for cheating on his Mate or maybe his Beta finally got fed up with his idiocy." I hear Elder Morton say, but I don't hear a response.

"Just be careful. I will contact you when I have found someone else to get us a few trained Pups." Elder Morton says and I am assuming that he is on the phone with someone.

"Fucking Moron. Why did he have to callon my private number? His information in unknown to anyone and yet he fears the Angel of Death will pay him a visit." He growls as he walks into his bedroom.

He tosses the phone on his bed and walks straight into the bathroom. "Let's make sure we get that number, maybe we can find out who he was talking to." Maleah says through our mind-link and I slightly nod my head.

Elder Morton doesn't bother with turning a light on in his room and without any hesitation he gets into his bed. I let my eyes drift to the alarm clock and I watch as tslowly passes, it takes two hours before Maleah gets up.

I grab the syringe we prepared before Elder Morton chand I jab it into his leg to empty the contents within a second. His eyes fly open and he looks fromto Maleah.

"Hello, Elder Morton. Still a bit slow in the head, I hear." Maleah says and the look in his eyes showsthat he is confused about her words, well that makes two of us.

"Elder Morton is just a bit dumb." Maleah says with her thumb and index finger apart by a fraction of a millimeter. The look in his eyes reflect my own feelings and I decide to help the man a bit.

"I think Elder Morton would like to know the sthing I do, so I will ask you the question. Why is Elder Morton a bit dumb?" Holding up my fingers the sway Maleah did.

"Oh, thank you for asking, my Love." Maleah says and I know I have a megawatt smile on my face.

"Years ago the Elders decided they wanted to know the identity of the Angel of Death and Elder Morton was leading that investigation. He gathered a group of Scouts and he divided them into smaller groups to investigate, hoping they would be able to find out who the Angel of Death is.

Problem was that he handed each team different files to investigate. A group to look into the deaths of Alphas, a group for Betas, a group for Gammas and two groups for other ranking Wolves and Lycans. What no one had counted on was the rivalry between those groups, each wanting the glory and acknowledgement for themselves. They never compared notes or discussed their findings with one another, making it impossible to find out my identity." Maleah says as she looks at Elder Morton.

His hands are moving to the side of his body and he slowly tries to get out of bed, but without his eyesight that proves to be a challenge. Like Addejora, Formobital gives him blood blisters and sof them are already open. The more he tries to move, the more blisters open and I take a step back when he is able to place himself on the edge of the bed. He slowly gets to his feet, but after one step he crashes to the floor and we watch as the pool of blood under his body becomes bigger.

"Could they have found out your identity?" I ask her, as I slide an arm around her waist.

"Maybe, if they had compared notes on each investigation. I think I was on most of the witness lists and i же wasn't on those, I probably would be on the guestlist of the hotels." She answers and I know that she dodged a bullet.

"Not that anyone will be able to find all those records again, someone close tomade sure that a lot of random pages disappeared." She continues and I know I have to thank Harvey for having her back all these years. "Okay, let's go home. I think Elder Morton can do his dying without our company." I say and we both leave his hthe sway we entered it.

Once we reach our SUV I feel Titan again, "Welchome, Buddy. That felt really strange." I say to him.

"I could hear and see everything, but it was as if it was miles away from me." Titan answers and I can hear the relief in his voice, he is glad to be htoo.

Maleah is typing away on her phone and I can read that she is sending a message to Harvey, "If anyone can find out who that number belongs to, it will be Harvey." Maleah says as she presses send.

We only have one more Elder and three Alphas to deal with, than we will han we deal with the Alpha that handed over Pups from their Pack and after that we will deal with the Moron that Elder Morton had spoken to earlier. I can't wait to find out who he is and I will ask Maleah to find the perfect potion for this Moron.
