Chapter 208
There were five dishes and a soup. It wasn’t a feast, but each was Natalie's favorite.
She had taken a few bites when her gaze lifted to Brian across the room.
Brian was frowning deeply, his eyes scrutinizing a particular clause in the contract before firm.
Bagot approached from around the corner of the nearby elevator, speaking in hushed tones, “ME. Howard,
they...”
He began but stopped when he saw Natalie sitting outside, dining and clad in Brian's shirt. He turned his back,
not continuing,
Brian glanced at Natalie and murmured, “Tell them to keep waiting.”
“Yes, sir,” Bagot nodded, then left.
Natalie guessed that Brian probably had a meeting to rush to, yet he hadn't taken a bite to eat. After a moment's
thought, she said softly, “I'm full.”
She set her cutlery down, cleaned her mouth with a napkin, and was about to get up when Brian approached,
eyeing the barely touched dishes on the table.
He wasn’t in a hurry. As he sat down, he reached out and caught Natalie's wrist, pulling her onto his lap.
Remembering his touch, Natalie felt his hand press against her waist, keeping her from leaving. “Is it not to your
taste?” he asked quietly.
“I'm full,” Natalie replied with a frown.
Brian picked up a fork and tried a plece of the steak, a Western adaptation of the classic dish she always loved. It
was just as good as she remembered, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside.

Without hesitation, he speared another piece and held it up to her lips.
“I can’t eat anymore,” she repeated.
“You've hardly eaten,” he said, a note of challenge in his voice.
After a brief standoff, she relented and bit it as he intended to feed her more of her favorites.
He fed her until he was satisfied, then set the fork down.
Natalie thought he would let her go, but Brian placed his hand on her belly and gently rubbed it. Natalie felt sick
with fullness, her stomach slightly protruding. Brian's gentle strokes sent a message. “From now on, you need to
eat until you're full every meal.”
She had grown taller since the days when her slight frbarely tipped the scales, yet she

weighed the same. All but for the curves meant to be fuller, her ribs were nearly visible.
“I'm an actress,” Natalie protested.
“Who says an actress can’t enjoy a full meal?” Brian retorted calmly.
After that, he picked up the fork again, offering her another bite.
Hesitant, Natalie opened her mouth under his intense gaze. She bit the corner of the steak, planning to spit it out
once she turned around.
But before she could rise, Brian's hand was at the back of her head, his gaze locked on her lips as he leaned in,
and the food was pushed into her mouth.
“Mmm...”
“Reporters have been waiting for over two hours!” she suddenly heard someone whisper near the elevator.
Someone was coming!
Startled, Natalie tried to push Brian away, but he didn’t let go until she swallowed the steak. Only then did he
leisurely release her lips and gently wipe the sauce from the corner of her mouth with a thumb.
The Howard family’s butler stood not far away, looking on in surprise at the intimate exchange between them.
Natalie turned to see the butler had arrived and struggled to get off Brian's lap.
Brian didn’t force her to stay. Instead, he said softly, “You go inside first.”
