Chapter 498 Anything Else to Ask?
Graham continued to stare at Jenny blankly, unsure of what to say for a moment.
"Alright." He nodded in agreement after a while, but he didn't dare to ask Jenny to make any more requests. After all, judging from her temperament, if he were to allow her to ask for more, she wouldn't hesitate to do just that.
It wasn't that Graham didn't want to give her those small companies. He was just concerned that he would draw too much attention if he gave her so much at one go. Jenny had just returned, and if he gave too much, not only would he have trouble explaining it to Rowena and Jolene, but the other shareholders in the Walter family would also have objections. Although Graham didn't really care, he didn't want Jenny to make too many enemies right away. He thought it was better to take it slow.
"I'll have my assistant prepare the transfer agreements for both companies. When do you plan to move to Walter Castle?’ Graham asked nervously. He had no idea what his daughter was thinking at the moment. He felt that although she looked young, she was more mature than him in handling things and was not childish or capricious. She knew what she wanted.

He felt she became so rational at such a young age because he wasn't there to protect and look after her. She lacked the impulsiveness and emotional sensitivity she should have at her age. But those were just thoughts he had in his head, and he couldn't tell Jenny about them. After all, he was the one who had done her wrong.

"Let's do it tonight." Jenny smiled, already looking forward to Jolene's expression when she saw her at Walter Castle. It would surely be exciting.
"Okay," Graham agreed.
The matter was settled, and Jenny didn't plan to stay any longer. She stood up to leave.
Seeing her leave, Graham became a little anxious. "Are you leaving? Don't you have anything else to ask me?*
He was already prepared, thinking that Jenny would ask many questions about the past and ask him why he abandoned her. But up until then, she hadn't asked him a single question.
Jenny halted her steps and looked at Graham.
Did she not have anything to ask? Of course not. She had many questions. But when she came face to face with Graham, she didn't know how to ask them. To be more precise, she felt that asking those questions was meaningless.
"I don't have anything to ask. If you have something to say, just say it. If you don't want to say it, then forget it."
She was a grown-up and didn't need anyone to take care of her. Graham's appearance in her life meant nothing to her. Hearing her words, Graham sighed. This was the last thing he wanted to hear from Jenny. He even wished that she would scold him and question him fiercely. It was better than her being calm and unbothered like she was at the moment.

He had no intention of punishing Ash because he knew that since Ash appeared in front of him unharmed, it meant that Jenny had no intention of killing her. Otherwise, he would not have been able to see Ash at all. Since Jenny didn't want her dead, he wouldn't take matters into his own

hands and hurt her, even though he really wanted to.
Ash got up to leave. When she reached the door, she turned around and said to Jenny, "Thank you."
She knew that Graham was willing to let her go because of Jenny. In response, Jenny shrugged indifferently and didn't think too much of it.
After Ash left, Graham asked Jenny to sit down and had someone pour her a glass of water. Then, he sighed heavily and seemed lost in thought.
