Chapter 3374

Darryl spotted a huge beast lying in the open space in front of him. The beast was nearly a hundred meters long

and was hairless, but its body was covered in black and red scales. It also had a long neck and tail. At first

glance, it looked like an extinct dinosaur from The Nine Continent, but it had a pair of huge wings on its back. Its

eyes glowed a blood-red color and looked devilish, while its body exuded a terrifying aura.

Darryl was even more shocked when he sensed the strength of the beast. It was so powerful; it turned out to be

the level of a saint god.

After being stunned for more than ten seconds, Darryl finally reacted and sucked in a sharp breath of cold air.

‘This—is this a dragon from this world?’ he wondered.

When Darryl first arrived in this other world, he read many ancient books in Dominic's study. He once saw a

record of dragons in the other world in one of the ancient books.

While there were dragons in the Roland Continent, they were different in appearance from

those in The Nine Continent, and the beast also had a wild, devilish behavior.

‘In the ancient records of the Roland Continent, dragons were powerful and greedy. They

would charge into the towns and attack the humans. 2000 years ago, the dragons

suddenly disappeared, and since then, the people of the Roland Continent have never

seen them. F*ck, I thought there was nothing in this cave, but I didn't expect that a dragon

was living down here,’ he thought, taking in a deep breath as he was unable to hide his

shock.

However, Darryl was not nervous. The dragon was lying down and narrowed its eyes

slightly, seemingly resting. Apart from that, there were two long jade thorns that were

nailed to its wings.

Darryl saw the thorns had fulu carved on them and it seemed to have some strange power

flowing in it. These jade thorns prevented the huge dragon from being able to fly.

At that instance, Darryl took a good look at the jade thorns, and his heart was so shaken

up, he almost screamed. It looked like the Trap Dragon Thorn.

When Darryl first founded the Elysium Gate Sect, he collected a lot of ancient books and

documents. He read in one of those books that in order to capture the dragons, the

cultivators in ancient times invented a secret weapon called the Trap Dragon Thorn. A

dragon that was hit by the Trap Dragon Thorn would lose its mobility.

Thereafter, when the dragons disappeared from The Nine Continents, the Trap Dragon

Thorne was also lost. Darryl never expected he would encounter the Trap Dragon Thorn in

another world.

Rustle.

While he was still in shock, he heard soft footsteps coming from another fork in the road

on his left. Then, two figures appeared in front of him. It was a man and woman.

The woman wore a soft, tight-fitting armor that showed off her perfect curves; she was

incredibly beautiful and had exquisite features, she looked tired as she held a delicately

designed dagger in her hand.

The man was also in armor and looked quite handsome but also rather tired.

‘It’s her?’ Darryl was startled to see the woman.

It was Madeline, the daughter of the Leader of the Bounty Alliance whom Darryl met before in Alandis. He paid a

visit to the Bounty Alliance and saved Mister chase by chance. Later, he and Madeline went to capture the bandit

leader, Osram. 3

‘Why is she here?’ Darryl wondered.

Then, Madeline spotted Darryl and jolted in surprise, she suppressed her surprise and said softly to Darryl,

“Darryl? So, you’re alive. I thought you were dead. What are you doing here?”

Some time ago, Darryl was a Royal Court Knight of the Heavenly Star Principality. Later on, something happened,

and the Alandis soldiers pursued him. Darryl was last seen falling off a cliff; no one was sure if he survived the

fall.
