He stood up slowly and waved his hand. "Quiet!"
The civil and military officials shut their mouths quickly.

Yvette.

Lord Kenny said, "I can give you the treasures, but I have one condition. You will kneel

Ambrose's expression changed drastically, and he pleaded with Lord Kenny. "Father,
please do me this favor and let them go."
Ambrose was anxious. He thought that after so many years, the hostility between his
father and aunt would have faded. To his astonishment, their meeting that day had
turned so ugly.
"Retreat!" Lord Kenny scolded, "No one is allowed to intercede in today's affairs,
otherwise, they will be sent to prison with these people!"
