Yvette asked, “Mother Empress, what’s the matter?”
“It’s all because of that damn animal.” The Empress bit her lips and told Yvette what had happened.
The Empress gave Darryl a fierce stare after she finished narrating the event.
Even though Darryl had successfully killed the enchanted beast and saved the Empress, he had also seen her half-
naked.
The Empress could not accept it as she had always seen herself as noble and aloof.
‘So that was what happened…’
Yvette nodded and then advised the Empress gently. “Mother Empress, don’t blame Darryl for that; he only did it
for your safety. Come, you can wear my robe.”
Yvette was about to take off her princess robe.
“No, don’t take it off!” The Empress shouted to stop Yvette.

Yvette knew her mother had always been a self-loving person. She would want to dress up and appear presentable
on all occasions, so why would she refuse to take Yvette’s robe when she was only stripped down to her innerwear?
“You can wear it. I’m fine like this.” The Empress bit her lips as she responded gently to her daughter.
The Empress looked unfazed when she said that, but she was actually very uncomfortable. Darryl had already seen
her in her innerwear; she could not allow him to take advantage of her daughter.
Even though the two of them were in love, they were not married yet.
Therefore, she would never allow Yvette to give her the princess robe.
Yvette did not insist after the Empress said that.
“Your Majesty!”
After he had gotten rid of the Sea Enchanted Beast’s corpse, Darryl walked into the cave and said, “The beast is
now dead, and there is no more danger. I will find a place to sleep so that you can take a rest.”
Then, Darryl turned around and was about to leave.
Fortunately, the Sea Enchanted Beast was only Martial Saint; they had managed to survive its attack!
“Oh, stop!”
The Empress shouted after Darryl had taken two steps.
Darryl stopped and looked back at her. The Empress bit her lips with a look of hesitation on her face.
“What else can I do for you, Your Majesty?” Darryl asked with a smile.
He had a faint smile in his eyes.
‘After what had happened just now, she must be scared witless.’
Yvette, who stood next to the Empress, covered her mouth and chuckled.
The Empress whispered as she met Darryl’s gaze. “Perhaps you could sleep here…”
She was reluctant to let Darryl into the cave.
However, she had no choice!

The Empress’s face became hot, and she yelled, “Well, can you not snore?”
Darryl sighed. He looked embarrassed as he smiled bitterly. “It’s hard to change a personal habit.”
Darryl teased the Empress—he did not snore whenever he slept.
“You—” The Empress was furious, but she was at a loss for words.
‘Well, it’s true that a personal habit is hard to be corrected.’
“Alright, alright.”
Yvette tugged Darryl’s sleeve; she mumbled in a low voice. “My dear Hubby, why don’t you just stop with the
jokes?”
