After washing up, Rosalind asked Leonardo to sit still, peeled a boiled egg, and carefully rolled it on his

forehead.

“It’s said that doing so can reduce the swelling fast without causing bruises. Bear with it.”

His low and husky voice sounded sweet to Rosalind.

Leonardo fixed his gaze on Rosalind as she was quietly taking care of the wound on his forehead.

Neither of them talked, yet they didn’t feel awkward. Instead, there was a trace of tranquility, peace,

and happiness around them.

Now Rosalind no longer glared at him, shut him out from him, or kept a distance from him intentionally

or unintentionally, Leonardo thought it would be good too if she kept treating him this way for the rest of

his life.

“What are you doing?”

After a short while, the door of the office was suddenly pushed open, causing a creak that hurt

Rosalind’s eardrum, and she frowned uncomfortably.

Rosalind and Leonardo turned around and saw Virginia in a white snow flake dress standing at the

Rosalind was not happy at the sight of Virginia.

with Lucy.
