A day later, Austin arrived at the Fire City.
Like the Daylight City, it was also a big city in the Heavenly Dragon Holy Kingdom.
In fact, it was even more extensive.
Austin found a small inn after entering the city and decided to check-in. A waiter guided him to his room and eventually took his leave.
Austin cast a spell to make the City as small as dust. As he placed it in the corner of the room, he summoned the teleportation power to transfer himself into it.
In a minute, Austin was transported at the center of a street inside the city model.
He then made his way to a three-story red log cabin on the side of the street.
The moment he pushed the door open, a voice full of surprise and delight penetrated his ears.
"Austin, is that you over there?" Tessa walked out of a room on the first floor.
She was welcomed by a figure of Austin on the door.
"How are you doing, Tessa?" Austin greeted, smiling.
As a small gesture of friendship, he had arranged for Tessa to live there for a while.
He had also given her a significant amount of cultivation resources and asked her to focus on cultivating.
Meanwhile, she was also aware that everything inside the City was his possession and under his control.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtNo one would disturb her while she focused on her cultivation.
Since Tessa was forced to leave Cyan Sect and the Elite Holy Kingdom due to Austin, he thought that he should be responsible for looking out for her.
"Tessa looks like you have made big progress," Austin said.
He noticed that Tessa's power had becstronger.
"You should take the credit for my rapid progress.
You have givenlots of cultivation resources.
Those valuable elixirs and herbs are greatly helping my training.
| feel like I will enter the Imperial Realm soon," Tessa replied excitedly.
It had been a long tsince she had reached the premium stage of Sky Realm, and knowing the possibility of making a breakthrough incredibly excited her.
"I'm glad to hear that. You can stay here to continue your cultivation. When you break into the Imperial Realm, | will take you to my friends," Austin said.
Although Michelle and other Meng clan members lived in the City, they hadn't met Tessa yet.
'Why does he wantto meet his friends? Who are his friends?’ Although in doubt, Tessa did not bother to further ask Austin.
She completely trusted Austin and thought of him as her little brother. Because of that, she mostly followed whatever he said.
After chatting and catching up with Tessa, Austin had planned to leave.
But before stepping out of the house, he handed a Space Ring to Tessa and told her that she could use whatever she needed inside it.
The Space Ring used to be Brent's.
Tessa took the ring and probed what was stored in it. A few moments later, her eyes grew wide and her mouth was agape in utter astonishment.
After all, the collection of a Master Realm cultivator was very valuable for a warrior at the premium stage of Sky Realm.
"Austin, this... This is..." Tessa uttered, evidently at a loss for words. "This is too much! | can't take it!" The apparent shock registered on her face as she gazed at the ring.
"Tessa, just take it. It's not really a big deal.
To be honest with you, | have more valuable possessions than the stuff inside this ring." After saying that, he immediately activated the teleportation power and in a flash was transferred to the City.
"He doesn't care about these cultivation resources?!" Tessa couldn't help but murmur while staring at the ring.
Austin obviously took his leave so just she wouldn't be able to reject the ring anymore.
"This brat is really perky.
But he does always surprisewith his talents and skills," Tessa muttered to herself.
A smile flashed on her face, as she felt really proud of Austin. . . .
Meanwhile, Austin arrived at the block where Marwell and his clan members lived.
As soon as he turned up, several people of the clan spotted him.
"Look! Austin is here!" They all exclaimed gladly.
He was highly respected and admired among the Meng clan. It eminently showed on how they treated him whenever he was around--or even when he was not.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmAustin walked towards the residence where Marwell lived temporarily while greeting those whom he passed by.
"Austin is here!" Joyce gushed upon hearing Austin's voice as he greeted the others.
She immediately ran out of the house, excited to see the young man who saved her and her clan. As she reached the door, Austin was already in front of her, standing dignified as his face lit up with a slight smile.
Joyce was about thirteen years old, and although she had hit puberty, she still acted like an innocent little girl.
To her, Austin was a hero whom she remarkably appreciated. That was why when she heard his voice, she rushed out to see him without any delay.
"Joyce, you grew taller," Austin greeted her with a smile.
Last twhen he cto the Sky Sect's stronghold in the Daylight City to save her and Michelle, he didn't pay much attention to her height.
But he suddenly noticed that Joyce was much taller than when he first saw her in the forest.
"Austin!" Marwell addressed.
He and Michelle also cout to welcAustin.
Together, they curtly ushered him into their house.
At the stime, selders and essential figures of the Meng clan had cto see their guest.
Austin observed that Marwell and all of his clan members had almost recovered from their injuries.
"Marwell, | have scultivation resources. You give them to everyone and tell them to cultivate here.
When everything is ready, | will take you out of this place," he said.
He took out a great number of vital and superior energy crystals, herbs, and elixirs from his Space Ring. With a wave of his hand, those resources piled up in front of Marwell.
"We've already owed you a lot. | can't take these," Marwell declined right away.
He gaped at the cultivation resources, surprised. Admittedly, they would be of great help to the whole clan, but Marwell recognized that Austin had already done enough for them. Taking those would be too much, he thought.
