"Are you ready to break the seal? I'll be in charge of three, and you'll each get one.
The moment we break the seal, the corpse demons will be at the most fragile state. So we must attach our spiritual sense on them as fast as we can.
If we take too long, it will be more difficult for us to make our spiritual signs. Once the corpse demons gain their own consciousness, we can't control them. Do you understand me?" Buck urged in a low voice as the three members of Ghost Sect stopped in front of five coffins.
The two underlings nodded in understanding.
"Well, let's begin," Buck said slowly.
As soon as he finished speaking, he took the lead moving very fast, making mysterious different gestures to form special hand prints. Meanwhile, he was busy extracting spiritual sense from his Soul Sea and integrating it to the hand prints; he transformed all these into strange white light circles and hit the caskets before him.
Each ta white light circle fell on the casket, it would cause the casket to shake slightly.
The other two replicated his actions.
Buck handled three caskets at a go, while the other two dealt with one casket each.
Austin observed them discreetly. His plan was to make his move and tthe five corpse demons once the three broke the seal on the five caskets.
The three kept working on the five caskets diligently.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe caskets trembled from tto time, and then ripples of dark red energy appeared on the covers of the caskets as if the five caskets were breaking free from skind of shackles.
Fifteen minutes had passed.
The five caskets finally began trembling violently. The bottom parts of the caskets would vibrate and hit against the floor, making loud noises.
"Get up," muttered Buck.
When the five caskets made the loudest sound, Buck uttered a spell and focused the hand prints on the three coffins.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Each coffin made such a loud noise simultaneously that even Austin who was hiding at the bottom of the basement could hear.
The covers of the five caskets shot off at the stime, and five horrible figures rose from the inside of the caskets.
With sinister and ferocious looking faces, the five zombies who were covered with long white hair and emitting a grossly offensive corpse smell. And meantime, they gave off a powerful vibe which could freak out people.
Austin recognized that the five corpses were corpse demons. Judging by the aura they exuded, he knew that they were much stronger than corpse generals.
The overwhelming pungent smell emanating from the five corpse demon spread in all directions. Soon, the stifling, oppressive air filled the whole basement.
The three members of the Ghost Sect, who were closest to the five corpse demons, were overwhelmed by the creepy yet overbearing power from the corpse demons. They were forced to take several steps backward to steady themselves, and blood boiled in their chests.
However, the three members of the Ghost Sect were very excited. The more powerful the five corpse demons were, the happier the three became.
"Be quick! Make your spiritual signs right now when they are at their weakest!" Buck reminded his companions.
Hence, the three started to activate the Corpse Controlling Spell, while they also extracted their spiritual sense and planned to attach their spiritual sense to the five corpse demons.
"Here is my chance," muttered Austin who had been hiding in the darkness.
He understood that it was the best tfor him to take action.
Austin shot out twenty Spiritual Sense Flying Needles in total, ten entering Buck's Soul Sea, and ten distributed to the other two evenly.
The three were busy exerting top-grade Corpse Controlling Spell, and they had started forming spiritual signs.
Generally speaking, while cultivators were engaged in working on secret skills concerning spiritual sense, distraction was one thing they needed to avoid the most. Once they got attacked by powerful spiritual sense, the consequences would be grave.
Austin's spiritual sense was far stronger than the three Sky Realm cultivators’. After all, even the spiritual sense of Imperial Realm cultivators was lower than his.
Caught off guard, the three had to stop displaying Corpse Controlling Spell due to Austin's Spiritual Sense Flying Needle attack.
Their spiritual power was damaged, and they suffered a spiritual regurgitation.
Suddenly, blood dripped from the corners of their mouths and their faces turned pale. With an alarmed look in their eyes, the group turned and glanced around looking for their attacker.
The instant Austin stopped the three from using the Corpse Controlling Spell with his Spiritual Sense Flying Needle, he activated Corpse Controlling Spell.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHe had studied the Ghost Sect's Corpse Controlling Spell before. Controlling corpse generals was the easiest among all the techniques of Corpse Controlling Spell. At present, Austin could manipulate 100 corpse generals. There was no doubt that he knew much about Corpse Controlling Spell.
With his strong spiritual sense and skillful application of it, Austin exhibited Corpse Controlling Spell faster than the three did.
Clearing his mind, he extracted the spiritual sense and transformed it into five spiritual signs by adopting the secret methods of Corpse Controlling Spell.
The five spiritual signs darted at the five corpse demons and entered their heads instantly.
When Austin's spiritual signs entered their heads, Austin was shocked to know that the five corpse demons had a bit of consciousness. Weak as their consciousness was, they had developed sspiritual sense.
‘No wonder Buck said the spiritual signs should be made soon after the seal was broken otherwise they would change into a different kind of creature. It seems like he was right. Now the corpse demons are intelligent, ' Austin thought to himself.
However, this was not a problem for Austin. He wiped off their consciousness in a minute.
Wasting no time, he attached his spiritual sense to the five corpse demons.
The moment he finished, he immediately felt that he had sconnection with the five corpse demons, and he could manipulate the five corpse demons.
At this point, the three members of the Ghost Sect spotted Austin.
"Who is so bold and dares to break into our restricted area?" Buck asked sternly.
When they found out the intruder was a lad, they were astonished yet much relieved.
The three stared at Austin, their eyes filled with killing intent.
Austin laughed scornfully and replied, "So what? | even dared to kill your leader, not to mention barge into here." He used his mind, and the next moment, the five corpse demons growled and surrounded the three.
Five vicious gazes fell on the three.
