At a certain point, the fire source beast becconscious of his surroundings.

"Wow!

Austin, it looks like you have wiped out the entire ghost race!"

he blurted out at once.

Stumped by his strong assertion, Austin was taken unable to respond forthwith.

Looking around, he gave the space a quick once-over to look for any sign of a single ghost race and found that there was none left

in sight.

Furthermore, the monstrous black mist that had covered the skies was gradually retreating and dissipating in different directions.

"This feels odd. | think with much conviction that I'm nowhere near from having slain all of them.

I'm confounded why did they suddenly stop their onslaught?"

Austin's brows furrowed.

They both took a few minutes and pondered the question before jumping to a conclusion.

All of a sudden, the surrounding space brightened with a cheerful radiance. It remarkably swept the black fog away, giving them

both a feeling of clarity.

In a split second, both Austin and the fire source beast struck an aha moment.

Simultaneously, they caught sight of a plethora of white lotuses floating in the sky. After a brief flurry, they rose and fell

continuously.

The entire world soon turned vivid and sacred.

Swoosh!

A myriad of white lotus flowers ceaselessly sprinkled down like heavy showers.

With a sky full of petals surrounding them, they both felt the world was bright and holy, giving them swarmth and tranquility.

A few minutes earlier, the unruly creatures of the ghost race had packed the space like it was hell. Then quickly and without

warning, a shower of lotus flowers fell. The drastic change was indescribably weird and wicked.

To make things worse, they stumbled upon a shocking discovery that their spiritual senses were greatly restricted. They were

trying to use it to perceive the space, but it wouldn't work.

Now, a considerable challenge stared at their faces since neither of them could work out the truth behind these white lotus flowers.

"What's happening here is so bizarre, Austin. We must not keep our guards down at any cost,"

remarked the fire source beast with caution. He was already on a heightened alert.

"I agree with you. We should watch our backs."

Austin gave a slight nod.

Afterward, he unleashed his full mind power to shield himself and the fire source beast.

Meanwhile, he also set up hundreds of powerful arrays that overlapped and protected the surrounding area.

By doing so, Austin and the fire source beast remained secure within the close range of Austin's arrays and mind power. They

intently watched the lotus rain as it fell continuously.

After half an hour had passed, still nothing remarkable happened.

"What's the point of waiting around here?

Let's carry on and explore the space,"

Austin told the fire source beast after thinking about it for stime.

"Okay."

The fire source beast nodded his consent.

As a result, under the protection of hundreds of arrays and powerful mind power, Austin and the fire source beast painstakingly

made their way toward the front through the lotus rain.

With eyes peeled on the pathway, they trod heavily.

After a while, they almost cried out in unison,

"Someone's here!"

Both Austin and the fire source beast staggered in disbelief.

From afar, a man in white had appeared right ahead of them.

With a smile plastered on his face, he was seemingly very approachable. The man's face looked kind and elegant.

After the man had turned up, he put his hands behind his back and strolled toward Austin and the fire source beast.

The white lotuses floating around the sky were falling on his hair and white robe. The very poetic scene was hard to miss out on.

Most notably worth mentioning was this man's good-looking features. He was tall with a straight posture, and his eyes were shining

like stars.

What made it even more bizarre was this white-clothed man's movement. With every step, the space around them also brightened

up.

It was like a valley with a new life breathed into it. Countless flowers were in full bloom, many birds were chirping, and bees and

butterflies were fluttering among the flowers, hovering.

Finally, the man in white paused in his tracks not far from where Austin and the fire source beast were standing.

He looked at Austin with a pair of reflective eyes.

Austin's gaze was also fixed on him.

When their eyes locked, tand space seemed to cto a halt, and they were stuck at a point in tin the long years.

Austin felt that at this point, everything becstill and silent.

He sensed that nothing else mattered and existed except him and the man in white as they quietly stared at each other.

Little by little, he could only see the man's eyes before him as if everything else had vanished from this tand space.

At first, the man's eyes were void of any emotion. Eventually, it displayed sincerity and congeniality.

Just like that, amid a seemingly endless tinterval, there was nothing else apart from Austin and the man in white who endlessly

stared at each other.

Austin even realized that it was hard for him to break away from this tand space.

He felt confined here as if he was in a prison cell.

It was comparable to becoming a prisoner of time.

All of his struggles to break free were unsuccessful.

Suddenly, there ca sound.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A series of loud and world-shaking noises continued to blow up in Austin's soul sea.

The explosion made Austin's spiritual soul disoriented and turned upside down.

Austin's spiritual sense was in disarray and total anarchy.

Consequently,

a deluge of negative emotions suddenly flooded into his Soul Sea.

A mixture of resentment, disgust, envy, anger, grief, pain, fear, and greed enveloped him.

Like a volcanic eruption, the perpetual flow of negative emotions flared up in Austin's Soul Sea.

"Arghhh!"

Due to the heavy impact brought about by so many conflicting emotions, Austin let out an enraged roar. He becremarkably

irritable, high-strung and restless.

At the stime, he discovered that deep inside himself, all kinds of vicious thoughts had arose in his consciousness, provoking

him to do all sorts of evil things one could ever imagine.

"Austin, what's going on with you?"

His sudden thunderous cry alarmed the fire source beast.

He didn't see anyone attack Austin in any way at all, but then all of a sudden, he was howling in pain and sorrow, startling him.

"Austin, what's happening to your face and body?

What's wrong with you? Is that guy in white attacking you?"

The fire source beast looked disturbed after realizing that Austin's face, limbs and the whole body began twisting and becoming

more hideous. They were swelling all over and becuneven, and many purulent sores also surfaced. He looked very distasteful

and bloodthirsty now.

"This is what the ghost race looked like before!

Austin, your body seems to have transformed into a ghost race's creature!

What the hell is going on here?"
