the soldier asked hesitantly. He was situated on the wall, and without even blinking, he stared at Austin.

As he shifted his gaze towards him, his face lit up.

"Yes, sir. I'm from the Immortal End World,"

"This world is already sealed. How did you, a cultivator at the Major-perfection Realm, get here?"

with his sharp and keen eyes, the soldier asked. Two beams of light flew out and pierced right through Austin, as if he wanted to

Austin answered, recounting the things he previously experienced.

"A large evil hand was sent to our world by a grand leader of the Evil Abyss World!"

The soldier was surprised after he heard Austin retold his tale.

"No wonder that | had no idea. It's simply a demonic hand.

If it's a full body of the grand leader of the Evil Abyss World that entered the Immortal End World, he would have passed through

this city. That will surely catch my attention,"

the soldier muttered softly, unable to distinguish whether he talked to himself or to Austin.

The soldier was wary of the people that cto the city because this place was extremely vital in keeping a large world protected.

Therefore, he should be cautious and alert to prevent the enemy's spies that dared to enter.

"Sir, everything that | said is true,"

"If you want to trick me, it is impossible,"

the soldier grunted. As soon as he said so, a brilliant precious mirror appeared in his hand. The light it reflected fell on Austin, who

stood against the wall.

Realizing that it might be a magic treasure to test if he told the truth, Austin stood his ground and faced the mirror.

Swish!

When the mirror was placed in front of him, a beam of white light flew out of it and shone on him.

Austin felt stripped and disrobed, as if everything about him had been seen from head to toe.

What caught his attention further was that a special force broke into his Soul Sea and probed his spiritual soul. This stunned him all

the more.

He felt frozen in his position, unable to dodge at all.

"Yes, you are telling the truth. You are indeed from the Immortal End World.

You can cin."

The soldier withdrew the mirror in his hand.

Then, with a wave of his hand, he put a stream of vital energy force at the foot of the city wall.

In that instant, a small transmission array suddenly appeared in front of Austin.

"Con,"

the soldier instructed.

Without missing a beat, Austin stood on the altar where he was immediately teleported into the city.

"This is inside the city? !I"

As soon as he entered the city, Austin was definitely at a loss for words.

The place was barren and devastated, with bones that laid all over. It would seem that innumerable creatures perished in this

place, and none of them was buried.

Austin still couldn't believe what he saw. Was this place really the interior part of the city?

Suddenly, a figure directly appeared in front of Austin

It was the soldier who stood in the city wall.

"Sir, is this really the interior of the city?"

Austin asked.

All he could see was the vast, empty wasteland that surrounded him. The pitch-black ground seemed to be boundless and never-

ending.

This wasn't how he pictured the inner city to be like.

"Yes.

This is the outer city, and there is an inner city as well."

The soldier nodded in affirmation.

"Since we are here, letshow you around so you can have a look.

The city was too depressed and lackluster after so many years.

| didn't expect to meet another living person in the city today."

The soldier mentioned in despair, as he filled in Austin of what happened.

He waved his hand while he spoke which made Austin fly to the horizon line in the distance.

"What!"

Austin exclaimed, startled with the sudden lift.

"Sir, are you the only one guarding this city?

Where are the others?" Austin questioned.

He remained astonished to what was presented before him. The city was incredibly enormous, even larger than the sun, the moon

and the stars in the world. The soldier kept an eye on such a vast world.

But despite being a cosmic place, there was only one soldier that stood guard. Austin was amazed and astounded at the same

time.

"Yes, you are right. | remain to be the only guardian of this city.

The others...

They already died in the battlefield many years ago. Only | was left here,"

the soldier sighed in melancholy.

In such an insurmountable and vast city in the border area, only one soldier was left after a gruesbattle. Regardless of being

the only one left, he continued to dutifully guard the city for countless years.

"We are in the inner city now."

The soldier led Austin all the way here. With a wave of his hand, a magic transmission array appeared at the foot of the city wall.

With this, he led Austin to land on the platform.

Immediately, they were directly transferred into the inner city.

It was quiet and still.

Apart from Austin and the soldier, it showed no signs of life in there.
