In Austin's Soul Sea, the Fire Stela was like the fiery sun in the sky, its heat encompassing the whole Soul Sea. It was boiling hot

like the dog days of summer.

The endless golden light coming from the Fire Stela was scattered all throughout the Soul Sea. Its light reflected even on the tiniest

speck of dust.

The unmitigated power of the Fire Stela forced the demon imperator down onto the ground. No matter how desperately he tried to

struggle, he could not break loose from its grip. He felt as though he was being pinned to the ground by the weight of an entire

mountain, rendering him completely unable to move.

The demon imperator was nothing against the overwhelming power of the Fire Stela.

"What the hell is this thing? How could a simple human being possess such a terribly powerful thing?"

The demon imperator raged as he went into a state of total panic and let out a deafening roar.

Austin then felt a huge weight coff his shoulders as his spiritual soul and the spiritual tree fused together once again.

However, recalling how close he had been to death's door just a few moments ago left a lingering fear in him.

"Well, since you wanted to robof my spiritual tree, | shall then refine you with it!"

Austin ferociously glowered at the demon imperator.

Austin was well aware that the demon imperator in his Soul Sea was not an actual physical body, but a mere demonic spiritual

soul.

A demon's demonic spiritual soul, while under a different name, was quite similar to a human warrior's spiritual soul.

Since the spiritual tree had the ability to absorb the blood-red killing intent released by the Slaughtering Sword and turn it into

spiritual sense, Austin believed that it could also refine and absorb the demonic spiritual soul of the demon imperator.

Upon realizing this, Austin immediately communicated with the spiritual tree.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The green leaves on the branches of the spiritual tree fell off and flew towards the demon imperator at once.

Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!

In just a blink of an eye, about fifty leaves had cut the demonic spiritual soul of the demon imperator countless times.

The demon imperator received a great deal of deep cuts, and large amounts of pure evil aura erupted from the wounds.

Flash! Flash! Flash!

The crystal clear roots of the spiritual tree rose up and completely absorbed the evil aura.

The demon imperator, who was pressed against the ground by the Fire Stela, was unable to dodge at all.

"You puny human! How dare you!"

The demon imperator roared in anger.

"Ha! | can do whatever | want!

Weren't you trying to take the spiritual tree fromjust a while ago?

Now it's my turn!"

Austin snorted

as the sharp knife-like leaves of the spiritual tree continued to cut through the demon imperator's demonic spiritual soul.

The demon imperator, just like a punctured balloon, constantly released a burst of rich, pure, and black evil aura

while the roots of the spiritual tree absorbed all of the dark demonic energy.

Soon, Austin noticed that the demon imperator was starting to gradually shrink and visibly wither away.

"Your life is over!"

Austin's spiritual soul shouted at the demon imperator.

He felt a small sense of smugness thinking about how just a few minutes ago, their situations were completely reversed.

"This is impossible! | am a demon imperator! | cannot be killed by such a weak human!

| will not accept this!

The Oracle Sect leader and | died together many years ago and | preserved my demonic spiritual soul, sleeping for hundreds of

years. It was not easy forto wake up from that!

I will not allow myself to die like this!"

The demon imperator shrieked as he felt his energy rapidly draining away.

But it was too late.

The leaves of the spiritual tree incessantly sliced through the demon imperator, creating thousands of wounds.

The roots of the spiritual tree continued absorbing the pure evil aura that cout from the wounds.

In about half an hour, the demon imperator had becas small as a finger

and had grown extremely weak.

Whoosh!

Several roots of the spiritual tree suddenly twined around the demon imperator and strangled him.

"Ah!"

The demon imperator let out one last scream. He then completely shattered and turned into evil aura, pervading the air.

The roots of the spiritual tree instantly absorbed the remaining evil aura.

Whoosh!

The Fire Stela flew back into Austin's elixir field.

Sometimes, the Fire Stela would take the initiative to protect Austin.

But most times, no matter how hard Austin tried to communicate with it, he would get no reaction whatsoever.

Up to now, Austin had known next to nothing on how to properly activate the Fire Stela.

He just knew that the Fire Stela was very powerful.

Now that the demon imperator had been completely destroyed, Austin quickly checked his Soul Sea.

"My spiritual sense!

It's been greatly enhanced!"

he exclaimed, impressed by the great improvement of his spiritual sense.

The spiritual sense lake in the middle of Austin's Soul Sea had expanded tremendously, and the spiritual tree that was once just a

little over a meter

had grown to almost five meters!

Austin released his spiritual sense to feel its power

and found that it was now at least five times stronger than it used to be!

It seemed that Austin reaped terrific benefits after the spiritual tree had absorbed the demonic spiritual soul of the demon

imperator.

"Now, the only problem is that the skeleton of the demon imperator is still inside my body," murmured Austin.

He then got out of his Soul Sea

and stretched his body for a while.

After a few moments, he suddenly thought back to the problem.

When he had been about to escape from the square, the skeleton of the demon imperator had caught up with him and forcibly

fused with his bones.

Austin twisted his body, waved his arms, and kicked his feet; he felt nothing happening to his body.

However, the thought of having the remains of the demon imperator inside his body made Austin feel odd, overcby a feeling

of nausea even.

He decided to try to use his vital energy force to squeeze the bones in his body and then use spiritual sense to feel inside, but

eventually decided against it.

Austin had no idea if there was any way to get the skeleton out of his body.

Thus, he had to give up.

Fortunately, it seemed that having the demon imperator's remains inside him did not have any awful effects on his body.

Austin had to leave the thinking of a way to take out the disgusting skeleton for sother time.

For now, Austin walked back to the center of the square.

He went straight in front of the standing remains of the human warrior, and was surprised to realize something.

He no longer felt any pressure of vital energy force from the remains.

Although the remains still unleashed a terrible pressure of vital energy force, it seemed to have no impact on Austin anymore.

Austin was now able to walk very easily around the remains.
