"Wow, looks like that he is going to make a breakthrough soon!"

Austin said to himself. Using his spiritual sense, he found out that the Sect Supremo was now sitting cross-legged in the cultivation

chamber, with powerful vital energy force surrounding him, coursing and surging like tides on his skin.

Austin could tell very well that it was a sign of critical point for breakthrough.

Austin immediately activated his Thunderbolt Movement Skill and made for the cultivation chamber. Within seconds, he landed on

that mountain, and cto the door of the secret room. He could have cstraight in, but it would startle the Sect Supremo, or

worse, make him lose control and die during the breakthrough. Holding his breath, Austin chose to wait for the breakthrough to

happen outside.

The energy in the air peaked all of a sudden after about half an hour of waiting.

"Boom!"

A deafening sound cfrom behind the door and shook the air, as though something had exploded inside.

After stime, the stone door of the chamber thudded open, sweeping a pile of leaves to the gate with its force.

Then amidst the dust, the Sect Supremo walked out of the room with confidence on his face.

"Congratulations! It seems that you have made a breakthrough successfully.

| can see that you have becmuch stronger now."

Austin went up and extended greetings before the Sect Supremo noticed him. He stared at the Sect Supremo thoughtfully, and

there was not much excitement in his tone. Obviously, he was not here merely to congratulate the Sect Supremo.

"Thank you, master! Thanks to the Energy-enhancing Pill you have given to me!

| would have never been able to reach the medium stage of Tribulation Realm all my life otherwise. To be honest, | didn't even

entertain the hopes of ever coming close to a breakthrough anymore were it not for you!"

the Sect Supremo hastened to reply. The moment he met Austin's gaze, his heart sank. Reading between the lines, he bowed

quickly and explained himself.

He was well aware that Austin was actually saying something else between the lines. If he just accepted his congratulations, he

he vowed with determination.

"You are flattering me," Austin replied with a smile. "Don't worry. | will give your spiritual orb back to you when the tcomes.

You don't have to spend the rest of your life being my servant,"

he said mildly.

"That's very kind of you, master!"

the Sect Supremo's mouth fell open with surprise.

"Not at all. Now you should take stto consolidate your cultivation base,"

Austin reminded him and turned on his heel.

He knew that the Sect Supremo's priority now should be to comprehend what he had learned and consolidate his progress. Every

warrior who had just made a breakthrough had to go through this process, and the Sect Supremo was no exception.

"Austin!"

No sooner had Austin left the mountain than he heard a voice calling out to him.

He saw that Fanny was coming up to him, accompanied by two beautiful young girls who looked exactly the same.

They were none other than Emma and Debby.

"You know what, Austin? The two of them were trying to sneak out of the Heaven Pavilion Sect when | bumped into them!

So | forced them to stay and take them to you,"

Fanny reported to Austin with a frown, looking back at the two girls.

Emma, Debby, could you tellwhy you want to leave?"

Austin asked, feeling quite surprised.

Ever since he brought the two girls with him to the headquarter of the Heaven Pavilion Sect, he had accommodated them in a

peaceful and secluded place within the sect.

But because he had been really busy arranging matters within the sect, he hadn't paid them a visit in a few days.

He didn't know whether they were having a good tthere, but he had told the disciples of the Heaven Pavilion Sect to take good

care of them.

He never expected that they would want to leave the place secretly without even telling him. Did something happen and they have

a good reason to leave?

"Well...sir... We want to go to the Barren Mountain, so..."

Emma stammered after hesitating for a while, avoiding any eye contact with Austin. She trembled, embarrassed at his worried

gaze.

Austin knew immediately what was on their mind. They must have been worrying day and night about their father's condition, and

couldn't wait to go to the Barren Mountain and find medicine for him.

He also remembered that he had promised them in the first place that he would take them to that dangerous place and help them

search for the cure.

However, he just couldn't free himself from matters concerning the Heaven Pavilion Sect ever since they had chere. So their

departure had been constantly delayed.

"Why didn't you tellabout it? Going there alone is not safe for two girls alone like you. You should at least letgo with you

and protect you two,"

Austin asked earnestly.

"You are too busy, sir," Emma replied, looking down at her feet. "You see, the Heaven Pavilion Sect really couldn't do without you.

So we thought that you wouldn't have the tto go with us.

That was why we wanted to leave without telling anyone. We don't want to trouble you anymore, really,"

Emma mumbled, her voice trailing off. She and Debby looked to be on the verge of tears.

Austin's conscience squirmed knowing the truth. He realized that he might have failed these two girls.
