Susan felt indignant for Sophia, but she also feared of Theresa possibly losing her dad again. Brandon didn't utter a word or show

any reaction; he just silently wrapped Theresa in a hug.

Susan couldn't help but shoot a worried glance at Kent. Kent gave her a reassuring "don't sweat it" look, but he couldn't help

worrying about Brandon himself. As he was trying to figure out how to break the ice and offer somefort, Martin's slightly

uncertain voice piped up from behind, "Kent?"

Kent turned around to the sound, spotting Martin who hade over with Louis and Renata. With a smile, he greeted, "Mr. Frost."

After the greeting, his eyes naturally drifted to Louis and Renata, and he greeted them with a smile, "Louis, Renata."

Louis looked like he had aged a ton and seemed quite frail, already sitting in a wheelchair - probably because of his physical

condition.

Renata seemed in better shape, maybe because she was still in the dark about Sophia's situation. Clueless as ever, but with a

youthful spirit.

When Kent said hi, Louis managed a weak smile back, his gaze drifting over to Theresa with a sort of faraway look.

Renata was also drawn to Theresa, exclaiming with surprise, "Yoli."

Theresa, a bit puzzled, turned her head towards Renata, not getting who she was calling. She had grown up a bit, and her features

were starting to resemble a young Sophia more and more.

Louis and Martin were both taken aback. Ever since they found out Sophia was Yolanda, they'd asked a few times to see Sophia's

daughter and even tried to visit, but Brandon had blocked all attempts.

After such a long time, this was their first reunion with Sophia's daughter. Louis and Martin were a mess of emotions, feeling like

they had a lump in their throat, just gazing at Theresa and struggling to find words.

Only Renata was over the moon, already leaving Louis's wheelchair behind and squatting down in front of Theresa, smiling and

calling her again, "Yoli, it's grandma."

Theresa glanced back at Brandon, clueless on what to do. Brandon gave her a smile and gently told her, "This is Mommy's

grandma, you can call her Great-Grandma."

Theresa obediently called out to Renata, "Great-Grandma."

Renata looked confused for a second, "Not Grandma? You should callGrandma."

Then, as if remembering something, she mumbled to herself, "No, no, my Yoli's all grown up now; she's so tall and pretty."

As Renata gestured to show Sophia's height, she suddenly panicked, "I haven't seen Yoli in so long; she won't even pick up my

calls. Where's Yoli gone?"

Renata looked past Brandon, her eyes frantically searching for Sophia.

Theresa was a bit spooked by her frantic behavior and instinctively tightened her grip on Brandon's hand. Brandon hugged her

gently, "Don't be scared; Great-Grandma just can't remember who she is."

Theresa's little face filled with pity and sadness, and the fear she had just felt evaporated.

Martin stepped forward, soothing Renata in a gentle voice, "Grandma Renata, Yoli is just on a business trip, remember? She'lle

to see you once she's not so busy."

Louis chimed in to calm her down too, "Yeah, don't worry; Yoli will be back soon."

Renata's panic finally subsided, but she still looked lost, glancing at Theresa and then searching behind Brandon, unable to tell the

present from the past due to Alzheimer's disease.

Theresa felt sorry for her. She didn't understand what dementia was, and she had no clue who Yoli was, but she knew that Great-

Grandma couldn't remember her own granddaughter, and that Yoli must be as important to her as Mommy was to Theresa. So, in

her tender voice, she tried tofort Renata, "Great-Grandma, Aunt Yoli wille back to see you after work, just like Mommy.

Don't worry."

Her innocent words calmed the flustered Renata at once, but they also made Brandon, Louis, and Martin castplicated looks at

her.

Brandon said nothing, just held her a bit tighter. Louis's eyes welled up with tears, his voice shaky, trying to speak but couldn't.

Martin was choked up too, but kept hisposure better. He crouched down, softly telling Theresa, "Theresa, I'm your uncle. Your

mom's brother." He then pointed at Louis, "And this is your great-grandfather, Mommy's grandfather. Can you call him Great-

Grandpa?"

Brandon instinctively hugged Theresa tighter, looking at her. Theresa hesitated, glanced at Martin, then at Louis, and shyly shook

her head, "My mommy doesn't have a grandpa or a brother."

"Yes, she does." Martin pointed to himself and Louis, "We're Mommy's brother and grandpa.”

But Theresa stubbornly shook her head again, "No. My mommy never chome; she only has Theresa."

Martin and Louis's expressions morphed into a mix of shock andplexity.

Brandon then turned to Martin and Louis, "Mr. Frost, Louis, Theresa is doing fine now. She's not in need of any relatives, so | hope

you won't disturb her anymore."

Then he said to Theresa, "Say goodbye to Great-Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle."

Theresa nodded, called out "Goodbye, Great-Grandma" to Renata, awkwardly said goodbye to the grandpa and uncle who felt like

strangers, and then walked away holding Brandon's hand.

Kent, who had been silent, politely said goodbye to the three and chased after Susan, catching up with Brandon and Theresa at the

checkout.

Theresa's been picking out a bunch of paintings and decorations.

Brandon watched the cashier scan each item's barcode one by one, and then whipped out his phone for the cashier to scan the

payment QR code.

After tucking his phone away, he casually glanced up towards the door. In the bustling crowd, he caught a glimpse of Harvey, on

his own, hustling through the masses.

Brandon's brow creased slightly. Since their last goodbye on the cruise, Harvey hadn't reached out to him, and had sailed off with

the ship.

What on earth was he doing popping up in West district all of a sudden?

"Mr. Crawley, what's up?" Noticing Brandon frowning at the door, Kent couldn't help but mirror the concern and asked.

Brandon shifted his gaze back to Kent, "Has Harvey mentioned anything about buying out Aurora Wharf recently?"

"Nope." Kent looked at him, puzzled, "What's going on?"
