Chapter 2726
"Miss Morrison, let's cut to the chase. This kid raised the price of the clear jadeite and had me pay 9
million for it. He then competed against me for the green jadeite and embarrassed me in front of
everyone. It's about time we settle the scores!" Bucky said and glared maliciously at Leon.
For someone of his status, there was no way that he would accept having a mere vice president
embarrass him and Aurelia in public.

Hence, they decided to wait outside the shop to teach Leon a lesson when he came out. Otherwise,
their anger could not be appeased.
"Settle the scores? What a joke! Bucky, you and Miss Underwood are the ones who picked fights with
Leon and competed with him over the jadeites he wanted! Yet, here you're blaming him for
embarrassing you in public! Don't you think you are way out of line here?" Renee laughed angrily.
"So what if I'm out of line? Whoever has the most power gets the say! Out of respect for you, I'll give
this kid a chance. If he kneels and apologizes for what happened earlier, I may consider letting him go.
otherwise, I won't show him any mercy!" Bucky said forcefully.
He knew that what Renee said was true. It was he and Aurelia who picked a fight with Leon and made
a fool of themselves in the end.
Even if they ended up embarrassing themselves, they had it coming and should not blame Hugh for it.
He could not argue with Renee’s logic, so he did not bother and simply tried to make Hugh obey by
force.

Though Hugh and Cynthion Group was capable of pulling out large sums of money, brute strength was
the only thing that truly mattered in the world of martial artists.
Hugh was merely a vice president and considering his age, he was likely weak.
Bucky, on the other hand, was the eldest son of the Grimstons and was incredibly gifted.
He reached the Initial Emperor State a year ago and was at least included in the five most powerful
martial artists of his generation.
Apart from Hugo and Felton, he was practically unrivaled, so there was no way that Leon could rival
him.
From his perspective, Hugh was just a puny man when compared to him. That was the reason why he
was confident enough to confront Leon by force to seek revenge.
