Chapter 511
Kevan responded with a grunt and said to Larissa, “Well we’re off.”
Larissa knew that she couldn’t stop Aster, so she let them off the hook.
“Okay, drive sale,” she cautioned with a nod.
It was Aster’s first time riding in Kevan’s car.
He sat obediently in the middle of the backseat, with his hands neatly folded on his knees.
“Uncle Kevan, I’m feeling very happy,” he said to Kevan.
Hearing that Kevan glanced at Aster through the rearview mirror. “Why is that?”
Aster smiled widely “Because you’re sending me to kindergarten!”
After that, his smile faded and he asked cautiously, “By the way, Uncle Kevan If my teacher asks about
who you are, can I say that you’re my daddy?”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtWhen Kevan heard Aster refer to him as his “Daddy“, his chest tightened inexplicably.
Instinctively, he gripped the steering wheel, nearly flooring the accelerator.
Suppressing the overwhelming joy and heartache that welled up within him. Kevan replied in a calm
voice. “Of course.”
Aster clenched his fists tightly and whooped inwardly, overjoyed at Kevan’s answer.
“What about my classmates? Can I tell them the same thing?” he asked again.
“Sure, no problem.” If it were up to Kevan, this would be common knowledge. He was eager for the
whole world to know the truth–only
after he managed to deal with those hidden threats within the Rogers family.
A wide smile spread across Aster’s face as he urged Kevan excitedly. “Uncle Kevan, drive faster! Drive
faster!”
As soon as they got out of the car, Aster held Kevan’s hand voluntarily.
Unlike his usual posture, he held his head high and straightened his back, strutting proudly with wide,
confident steps.
Aster’s amusing antics made Kevan laugh.
They arrived at the peak hour for parents to drop off their children at the kindergarten.
The entrance of the kindergarten was extremely crowded with people.
Sounds of children shouting and laughing could be heard from the crowd, causing a racket.
Kevan’s physical appearance was remarkably handsome. As soon as he appeared, he became the
center of attention.
Many of the mothers were mesmerized by his attractiveness.
Children of both genders, regardless of age, were staring at Kevan, transfixed.
Some of the girls even pointed to him and exclaimed, “Mommy, that man over there is so handsome!”
Hearing such praise, Aster stuck his nose into the air, floating on cloud nine.
Some of his classmates purposely came over to talk to him, “Aster, who is this with you?”
Aster replied proudly, “He is my daddy!”

exchanged pleasantries with other
parents.
Finally, they reached Aster’s classroom. Ella was waiting at the door.
When she saw Kevan, she was momentarily stunned.

Aster socke up before Kevan could respond. “Ms. Gilmore, he is my daddy!”
His voice was very loud, as if he wanted everyone present to hear him.
Ella was taken aback at this revelation.
Previously, Larissa was the only person who picked up and dropped Aster oft that’s why she assumed
that Aster was from a single–parent
family.
Thus, she paid extra care and attention to Aster as compared to other children.
Ella never expected that Aster had a dad and such a handsome one at that —
“Hello, rice to meet you!” Ella flashed a shy smile.
“Hello, I’ll place Aster in your care.” Kevan said, smiling openly in return.
