“What’s going on? Why did Rosalynn’s horse suddenly go wild?”
Envy filled Eleanor as she watched Brian carefully assist Rosalynn as she got down.
She didn’t understand how Rosalynn’s horse suddenly made a mad dash. Part of her was convinced
that Rosalyn did it to get Brian’s attention.
And it had worked perfectly. Brian ran to her rescue, which was as good as saying that he cared about

The trainer checked Rosalynn’s horse as they looked on, waiting for his evaluation.
“The horse may be in heat. It’s probably why it had suddenly acted out of control.”
The trainer ran a soothing hand over the restless horse as he explained the situation.
“But it’s not time for the horse to be in heat yet, is it?” Merrick asked suspiciously.
“You are right, but there are many possible triggers for it and | can’t be sure what caused it.”
“Check the rest of the horses. Don’t let anything unexpected happen again,” Chaz ordered sternly.
The trainer immediately did as he was told and checked every horse. Fortunately, no other problems
were found.
“It was a good thing that Brian was able to save you just now, Rosalynn. That would have been a heavy
fall.” Arya looked at Rosalynn coldly.
Rosalynn took a look at her and nodded. “When | was a child, a fortune-teller once told me that | was
born lucky. Ordinary people couldn’t hurt me.”
Among all the horses, only Rosalynn’s had gone mad.

“Fortunately, it was a false alarm. Well done, Brian. You must be quite the equestrian,”
Merrick praised, giving Brian a pat on the shoulder.
“Not bad,” Brian replied, his gaze fixed on Rosalynn’s wrist, where he saw a bracelet.
If he wasn’t mistaken, Rosalynn had taken something from the bracelet and used it to prick the horse’s
neck.
Was it a needle?
It seemed she had used the needle to prick the horse to save herself.
Otherwise, she would have been gravely injured, and the horse would have died after colliding with the
wall.
