Chapter 1716

Eight o’clock in the evening. In a hotel.

Beck entered the suite, noticing the door left ajar, knowing that Emily had probably already arrived.

He opened the door and walked in, closing it behind him, and called out, “Emily, Emily!”

No response. He walked through the living room toward the bedroom. As he entered the bedroom, the door

slammed shut behind him. Standing there were three people: Emily and two attractive women he had never seen

before.

Beck gave a sleazy grin. “Emily, what’s this? You’ve called your girlfriends for a party?”

Magdalen smashed a bottle of wine over Beck’s head. The bottle shattered, with wine running down his face.

“Argh!” Beck clutched his head, howling in pain.

Magdalen kicked him in the chest, sending him sprawling onto the bed. She threw a blanket over him and started

punching and kicking him.

Estelle turned to Emily, raising an eyebrow, “Kick him! Get it out of your system.”

Emily figured since she had already lost her job, not kicking him would be a waste. She joined in, kicking hard at

Beck under the blanket. A squeal of pain indicated she had hit his weak spot.

“Good job!” Magdalen gave Emily a thumbs up.

Emily lifted her foot for another kick and scolded, “Bastard! That’s for disrespecting women, for your arrogance!

Do you think you can treat people however you want just because you’re wealthy?”

Beck pleaded from under the blanket, “Stop, Emily, I won’t do it again. Please stop! Spare me!”

Emily continued her assault, until she was panting with exhaustion.

Magdalen chuckled, “Feel better?”

Emily’s eyes sparkled. “Much better!”

They left the room, with Estelle following behind, glancing at the whimpering man under the blanket.

Just as they left, a young woman entered the room, calling out tentatively, “Beck?”

Entering the bedroom, she saw Beck coming out from the blanket, his face bruised and contorted in pain.

“Beck, what happened?” she asked, concerned.

Beck winced, took off his shirt, and asked the woman, “Susie, can you check my back? It’s really hurting.”

Susie noticed a dent on Beck’s back, as if someone had stomped him with high-heels. She asked sympathetically,

“Who did this to you, Beck?”

“Don’t ask. Just find me some ointment!”

“Okay!” Susie quickly found some ointment.

As she was applying the ointment, Beck asked in surprise, “Susie, what are you doing here?”

“Didn’t you ask me to come?” Susie responded.

Beck sat up abruptly, wincing from the pain in his chest. He realized that he had probably broken a rib. However, he

seemed more concerned about Susie’s presence and he paled. “You received a message from me? I didn’t call

you!”

Susie showed him the message on her phone.

Beck looked at it and froze. The message contained the time and place, exactly the same as the one he had sent to

Emily.

Before he could figure out what was going on, the suite door was kicked open, and a bunch of people stormed in.

Leading the crowd was his wife!

“You bastard, cheating on me again with this tramp! I obviously didn’t punish you enough last time!” Beck’s wife

slapped Susie, “Once a cheater, always a cheater!”

Susie was Beck’s former mistress, who had been caught by his wife. His wife had tied them together and beat them

up.

Beck had built his fortune with his wife’s help and feared her greatly. He had knelt down and begged for forgiveness

then, promising not to see Susie again.

Of course, they had been secretly seeing each other ever since.
