Chapter 105 Brady.
If she remembered correctly, this car alone was worth a staggering ten million dollars.
The Grayson family, truly the most prestigious household in Northspire.
Even an out-of-favor son can drive such a luxury.
"Get in." Serena nodded slightly and stepped into the car.
Once inside, she discovered it held even more secrets.
The interior was entirely handcrafted, with plush velvet carpeting and custom seats designed specifically for William's comfort.

"I ran into strouble." "What kind of trouble?" His gaze remained cool, neither too warm nor distant.
Though Serena had no intention of opening up, she found herself speaking as she looked at his face.
"A friend of mine was forced into donating a kidney without knowing." William leaned back slightly, revealing a sharp jawline. "From what I know, a kidney donation requires matching tests. It's a complex process; your friend couldn't have been unaware." Serena's eyes flickered. "Is the matching process really that complicated?" "Yes," William replied, his long fingers gently tapping his knee. "First, there's a blood test to ensure compatibility, then HLA typing, antibody level checks, lymphocyte toxicity tests... With all these procedures, it would be impossible to hide it from your friend." Serena clutched the hem of her jacket tightly.
If what William said was true, and matching required so many tests, she couldn't possibly have been kept in the dark.
Could it be... Cynthia Lynwood was lying? Had Aaron never run any tests? But if not, how did Cynthia Lynwood know...
A chilling thought crept into Serena's mind.
"What's wrong?" William's concerned voice broke through.
Despite the gentle tone, Serena shivered.
She looked up. "No... nothing..." William noticed her pale complexion, his eyes filled with concern. "Are you sure?" "Yes." Serena nodded, and in a blink, a smile returned to her face. "How do you know about the matching process?" William's long lashes lowered. "Experience. Frequent hospital visits teach you a thing or two." Serena's expression shifted slightly. "I'm sorry, I..." "It's alright." William smiled.
The rest of the drive was silent. When they reached the city, Serena found a law firm and consulted several lawyers, all of whom said there was no way to press charges without evidence.
Serena exited the firm.
William's Bugatti was still parked at the entrance, drawing the attention of passersby.
She got back in.
William asked, "Where to next?" "Back to Rosewood Gardens."
William's lips curved slightly, his lashes casting a blue-gray shadow.

Victor bit his lip, glancing at where Aaron was staring awkwardly.
Miss Sullivan had gotten into Mr. Grayson's car.
And they seemed to be enjoying each other's company.
"Mr. Vance..." Victor spoke hesitantly, "Shall we head back to the office or...?"
"The office." Aaron's voice was icy, yet his gaze lingered on the Bugatti as it drove away. Today was Serena's discharge day.
He had planned to pick her up.
But just as he was about to leave, the bridal shop called, saying there was an issue with the wedding dress that NO needed his attention. After resolving it, he walked out only to see Serena getting into William's car.
