"Callie, we need to talk!"
As soon as Fleur spotted Calliope, she reached out to grab her.
Calliope deftly stepped aside, dodging Fleur's grasp. She gave Fleur a puzzled look. "What do we have to talk
about? | don't think we have anything to chat about."
"I've got something really important to discuss. Just givea little of your time."
Fleur's face was a picture of urgency as she continued, "Let's grab a coffee at that café over there. It's on me!"
Calliope glanced at Fleur, noting her desperate demeanor. She hesitated for a moment. Finally, she told Monty
and the rest to go on ahead, while she headed to the café with Fleur.
Once they were seated, Fleur wasted no tand ordered two cups of coffee. Then, she looked up at Calliope.

"What are you implying? If you're trying to appeal to my emotions, don't bother. | have no feelings for him
anymore."
Calliope leaned back calmly. She could sense Fleur was about to ask her for a favor. It had to be something
regarding Yvette or Gideon.
Fleur's expression was grim, and she pressed her lips together, as if steeling herself for what was to come.
"You must know, Yvette might not be able to have children anymore! You're the Miracle Doctor, and even though
you haven't seen her, you must know her condition isn't good after the miscarriage, right?"
Her face was clouded with bitterness, and her eyes flashed with frustration.
"That wretch, h she's a real piece of work. She cinto our lives and turned Gideon's world upside down Now
that everyone knows about their marriage issues, no one wants to get close to Gideon! There were girls
interested in Gideon, but whenever he got close, Yvette would lose it! She's a lunatic!"
Fleur was visibly shaking with anger. "She can't bear children, yet she swore Gideon would never have children
with anyone else,
threatened to murder any woman who dared get close to him! After getting married, she becextremely
audacious!"
Fleur's face turned crimson, unable to unleash her rage. It was rare to see her so worked up. Clearly, Yvette had
her in a tight spot.
Calliope, however, remained composed. When the coffee arrived, she stirred it slowly with a spoon, and then
looked up, uttering, "So, what's your point? You didn't cjust to vent, did you?"

They weren't exactly close friends. Calliope had once despised Fleur with a passion. So Fleur's current
predicament seemed like karma to her.
"Callie, your medical skills are incredible. Is there any way you could help Yvette conceive again? Yvette's been
threatening me, saying if Gideon tries to have a child with someone else, she'll make sure that kid never sees
the light of day.
She's causing chaos, and | can't introduce Gideon to any other woman. If that's the case, why not help her have
another child? She wouldn't harm her own, right? Once she has another baby, and | have a say over that child,
she won't be able to do anything."
Fleur's eyes narrowed, a dangerous glint in them.
Calliope frowned at Fleur. "Given her condition, it's really difficult for her to conceive. Her body could be treated,
but there's no guarantee it would fully recover, or that the situation would improve."
"I don't care, as long as she can get pregnant!" Fleur insisted, "I'll pay you. Whatever it costs, I'll cover it!"
