"Well, | am pretty amazing," Calliope quipped, sipping her coffee. "By the way, have you done anything to the
Jewell Group lately?"
"I've put a slight damper on their business and taken a few partners away," Upton replied casually.
Calliope nodded, understanding Upton hadn't gone overboard, likely out of consideration for her.
"Do you want to reclaim the Jewell Group?" he asked.
"It's not the right tyet," Calliope said calmly.
Upton offered, "If you need my help, say the word."
"Of course. You know I'll never be shy about asking!" Calliope grinned, her eyes twinkling.
Upton paused, then said, "If Silas ever gives you a hard time, letknow. Sea City always welcomes you if
things aren't going well in Capitalton. You know | see you as my sister."
"Yeah," Calliope nodded, "I know | have an amazing brother in Sea City!"
