Chapter 422
Who knows what goes on in his mind from day to day?
Marrying someone like Yvette? What was he thinking?
"Grandpa, don't worry, she's not going to pin anything on me," Calliope assured Eamon with a smile. "I've got it
all handled. Just giving you a heads up, in case anything does cup, so you won't be caught off guard. But
honestly, maybe I'm just overthinking it, she might not even have bad intentions."
Eamon glanced over at Yvette and sighed.
Calliope sat with Eamon for a bit longer.
Without any from the Jansen family, the wedding went off without a hitch. Everything was still smooth
sailing by the tthe evening rolled around.
The banquet hall looked stunning as guests mingled at their tables, the host on stage speaking against a
backdrop of Gideon and Yvette's wedding photos. The Jansen family, having been warned, sat quietly in their
corner.

As Yvette and Gideon made their entrance, all eyes turned to them.
Calliope, seated at a table with Silas and a few others, also turned to watch.
Silas looked at Yvette for a moment, then turned to Calliope and said, "She's nowhere near as beautiful as you.
You're stunning."
Calliope couldn't help but laugh. He must have been reminiscing about their own wedding.
She thought back to that day too, remembering how uncertain she'd felt, nervous about her future with Silas.
Back then, she had been quite intimidated by him, thinking he was a hard man to get to know.
But now, she realized just how good he was, so much better than Gideon. How had she missed it before?
Silas, after casting a disinterested glance at the newlyweds, turned his attention back to Calliope. "We should
have another wedding sometime."
"What?" Calliope looked at Silas, bewildered. "Another one?"
They'd already had a wedding, hadn't they?
"That one doesn't count," Silas frowned. "That was your wedding with him. You didn't marrywillingly, you just
needed someone to step in!"
He was bothered by it. Because he hadn't planned anything, everything had been pre-arranged.
For their wedding, he wanted her to wear a dress he had specially made for her,
in a venue he had chosen himself, with everything just the way they liked it.
Not something thrown together, half-hearted.
Calliope realized what was on Silas's mind and couldn't help but smile.
"Alright. Let's plan a wedding that's truly ours."
The original wedding felt like Silas had been a last-minute stand-in, not even a guest there to celebrate them.
Thinking about it, that
wedding hardly felt like theirs at all. It would be nice to have a
Suncover.
Meanwhile, Gideon and Yvette were already on stage, the host entertaining the crowd with jokes that had
everyone laughing.

But Gideon seemed off, often
missing the host's cues, his gaze
drifting towards Calliope and Silas. Watching them lean in close,
whispering to each other, seeing
Silas feed Calliope.
Gideon's fists clenched tightly.
"Alright, it's tfor the ring
exchange the host announced with a laugh "Looks like our groom is
already dreaming of the honeymoon tonight, getting a bit distracted!
Don't worry, let's get through this part first, there's plenty of tfor that later!
Every night will feel like a honeymoon from now on!"
