"I'm going to keep you safe, | promise. Ever since | told you how | feel, | knew I'd always care about you, no matter what happens.” Madelyn could not believe it. Nobody had ever told her that before. No one had ever assured her that it was okay not to have kids. She herself had always been really worried about whether she could have kids.
