Chapter 727 Vee Is the SInside Out
The housekeeper did not know what happened, but seeing how angry Callum was, he nodded respectfully and
went to do his bidding.
At half past ten in the evening, Kenneth drove into the garage.
"Mr. Callum seems to be in a bad mood. be careful and choose your words wisely, Mr. Kenneth," the housekeeper
advised him.
Kenneth paused in his tracks and asked, "Is it because of my sister again?"
His sister was spoiled and stubborn, Even the most harmless of comments from others would upset her.
"Mr. Callum didn't mention anything. | think it'd be best if you talked to him."
“All right."

In the living room, Callum’s face sank when he saw Kenneth. He asked, "I heard you found yourself a girlfriend?"
"Yes, | planned to tell you and Mom next week," Kenneth replied.
"Her nis Xavia?"
"Yes. Vee is a very gentle woman. Although we've only known each other for less than a month and know that
she has a child, surely everyone makes mistakes. I'm not someone who cares about other people's opinions."
Callum was stumped for a moment. He could not suppress his anger and slapped Kenneth over the head. "You
want to be with a slut?! Are you blind?!"
"Dad! Vee isn't what you think. You don't understand the whole story. She was a victim," Kenneth said, trying to
defend Xavia. He did not understand why his gentle and refined father would say such harsh words.
"Stop this! Break up with her now and don't makerepeat myself!"
"Why? You and Mom have been urgingto get married, and now that | found the love of my life, you want to
stop me?"
"I won't accept her into the royal family. Her background isn't clean, and her social connections are complicated.
Speople aren't as simple as they appear on the surface. Haven't you seen enough of the ugliness and filth
within the royal family?"
"Dad, why won't you believe that Vee isn't that kind of person? | can prove it to you. She's the sinside and
out."
Callum was annoyed by the sight of his son. He let out a sigh and said, "Just go to your room."
Kenneth furrowed his brows, opened his mouth to say something, but then decided against it. "Fine. Good night,
Dad."

That night, the Sullivans held a family meeting. Chloe recounted every detail of the incident involving Callum.
Noah was in a set of cotton pajamas. He brought two cups of hot milk to the table and his eyes glinted coldly as
he said, "Grandpa, | think Chloe did the right thing. We don't need to grovel for Callum's favor. There's no need
to pander to them."
Desmond furrowed his brows in contemplation. "For now, we don't have any ties with the royal family, but what if
we form a tie with them in the future?"
As far as he knew, Callum was a good man. And it would be beneficial to have someone to take care of his two
grandchildren.

"Grandpa, | know what you're thinking, but we can deal with the future when it comes. Having you by my side is
enough," Chloe said as she gripped her mug. Under the warm lights, her curly lashes and soft facial contours
made her look as delicate as a princess.
"I'll think about how to handle this. You both go to bed," Desmond replied, avoiding further discussion on the
topic.
Noah and Chloe exchanged glances, sensing that Desmond had other ideas in mind. He had not explicitly stated
anything, so they did not feel it was appropriate to ask further.
As they parted ways, something crossed Noah's mind, prompting him to stop Chloe.
"What's the matter?"
"I have a friend who works as a talent manager. He suggested that we should stop working with Michael," Noah
said.
Cocking her head, Chloe asked, "Does he have a scandalous history or something?"
The corridor was dimly lit and the darkness shrouded Noah's face. "He acted as sman's lover to get better
resources. If this comes to light, it might not reflect well on us. In any case, we don't have to work with him
anymore. I've already settled his appearance fees with the finance department."
