Having found the Razer Tusk Board, Arthur knew the battle was not going to be easy.

'It's more likely for me to die if I fight it head-on. I certainly don't want to die this early…' Arthur thought to himself as a strategy formed in his mind.

He already had a rough plan as to what he was going to do, but he didn't know if it would work exactly as intended. After all, what he was doing hadn't been done before!

That's right, this time the method of quest completion was something that was unique to Arthur. And this was only possible due to the information he had from his past life.

'The original player had waited to reach level ten and then hunted the Razer Tusk Boar. Even the Ruins were only explored at a higher level. But if my plan works then, I should be able to do it before that!' Arthur steeled his resolve.

The Razer Tusk Boar was no normal mob, either. It was a Rare ranked mob that was also at level 10. This added a new factor that could turn out to be difficult for Arthur.

The higher the rank of an enemy, the more dangerous they got even if their level was low.

For example, if a level 10 common ranked and a level 8 uncommon ranked mob fought, the uncommon ranked mob would win most times. This was due to the additional skills and stats that the higher ranked enemy had.

The level disparity only grew the higher the ranks went.

It was said that a level 1 legendary rank mob would be able to kill a level 50 common rank mob. Such was the disparity between the ranks.

Of course, finding a level 1 legendary rank mob may as well be close to impossible. Most such mobs were either high leveled NPCs, bosses, or quest targets of legendary quests. There was no way their level would be low at all.

For Arthur, who was at level 7 and was trying to fight a rare ranked level 10, Razer Tusk Boar, this was going to be an uphill battle.

Still, his face showed no fear and his hands did not shake.

He picked up a stone from the ground and firmly held it in his hand. Then, looking towards the Razer Tusk Boar, Arthur aimed and threw the stone!

WHOOSH!

The stone soared through the air and stuck the head of the Razer Tusk Boar!

THUD!

"That was expected." Arthur knew a little stone was not going to hurt the thick hide of the Razer Tusk Boar that was further lined with tough bristles.

Grhh!

The Razer Tusk Boar let out an irritated sound and raised its head. It shook it lightly before turning around to see just who was it that was bothering it. And as soon as it spotted Arthur, its eyes went red.

ONKH!!!

Letting out an angry cry, the Razer Tusk Boar directly charged toward Arthur!

"Time to run!" As soon as Arthur knew that the boar had spotted him, he broke into a sprint.

His improved stats were coming in handy here, especially his agility which he had raised by two points letting it reach 7. If not for that, he might be a lot slower. Nonetheless, even with his stats, it was still not enough for him to outrun the Razer Tusk Boar.

In fact, the beast was already catching up to him, reducing the distance between them. Its hooves left deep imprints on the ground, a mark of its weight while its hide jiggled lightly as it ran at a great speed.

It was low to start, but now that it had picked up momentum, it didn't look like it would stop anytime.

"Shit!" Arthur looked back and saw that the distance between him and the Razer Tusk Boar was just a few meters.

He didn't lose focus though and kept on running without stop. But soon, an obstacle stood in his way, a large boulder.

"Let's see who's tougher, you or this rock!" Arthur taunted, before vaulting over the boulder.

With his familiarity of the game and his character, it wasn't difficult for him to do such a maneuver. This was one of the reasons why he had spent some time calibrating his character at the time of creation, after all.

Though for new players, doing something like this would only end up getting them injured.

Arthur skillfully flipped over the boulder, before sliding down the back.

Thud!

Without breaking his tempo, Arthur continued running.

'Here it comes, three… two… one—'

BAM!

The Razer Tusk Boar crashed into the boulder at full speed, cracking it apart!

"Guess you are tougher than the boulder…" Arthur said, taking a look.

The boulder crumbled into small rocks, as the Razer Tusk Boar shook its head a little.

"Hahah! It works!" Arthur laughed out loud, seeing the beast's folly.

This was one of the weaknesses of the Razer Tusk Boar. While it was a strong beast, physically, mentally it was rather weak. It had very little intelligence in the first place, and once it was enraged, even that was thrown out of its thick skull.

Thus, the best way to fight it for physical fighters was to simply dodge and inflict damage when it missed its target. Of course, the best way to kill the beast was to use non-physical attacks like magic or mental attacks.

But those weren't something Arthur could find here in the newbie village.

One could only use magic when they switched to a magical class and that was needed for one to reach level 10 and leave the village. If they left the village, they wouldn't be able to return and thus the quest would be automatically failed.
